Jake's still young and totally rips. You can always tell he's really pushing himself to go bigger/faster, always bones-out/shifty's his airs to the max. He was a bit of a brat when he was at Woodward but you've always been able to tell he's a natural on the board and you can tell skating is his outlet as well as his passion. Just a complete skate rat. Good move by Etnies and congrats Jake!

Those Etnies slip on veer cups with the Michelin sole was great and easy to find on clearance I was bummed when I didn’t see them continue. Now it’s a Vulc slip on.

Takes a lot to impress slap these days. His front knee is literally lower than the board. Sure he's stuck in a redbull hat but he's good and he's got style.
Lots of dismissal and shit talk on etnies on here but I gotta say if you're hating on etnies these days you're probably a hypebeast kook or just hating to be hateful. The Michelin soles are the longest lasting soles in the skate shoe market; the marana, joslin 2's are straight up tanks. The Windrow is awesome too if you want a slimmer skate shoe (cup or vulc).
Besides, their team is actually really talented as well as varied at the moment. Looks like they've re-upped and diversified since "album" too so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a vid in the works.
Edit - That's a screen grab from the ender btw. Really looks more like an air just going back into transition based on how horizontal he is and where he is in the shot.

Touche, that's a personal prerogative. I just value durability more then aesthetic in terms of shoes I skate and I prefer plain/simple looking designs.
Besides no one here's said they don't like their looks, more of people pretending they don't know they exist because they're not a "cool guy" mega brand. Shits corny, just be real.

at damn am atlanta 2015 i saw him jack olson jamie foy eli williams tyson peterson and many people that are now “on” i’ll say that him and eli were the most impressive people to watch but haven’t cared about jake since. with that being said, i hope to god they offered him a good check
