Can’t tell who it is with the gap to lip at 20:55 but that’s at my high school. My buddy n I were the first ones to Ollie that gap literally dodging and weaving between kids right after school when parents were picking them up. I’m talking like 97 or 98.
Over 20 years ago my friend and I would be like,”wouldn’t it be rad if someone gapped to lip that?” After I moved out, every time I went back to my parents house during my 20’s (in my prime)I would stop there, scope it out, then go nope, it’s impossible... So filled with joy for some odd reason to witness that move go down there.
Like I said, that trick was a pipe dream for me n my friend and to see it go down over 20 years later... damn.

I feel like Bronze and maybe sometimes Palace have been doing this. One way or the other, Beagle did a super good job. About mid way through I kinda figured it was his mix but it was still a nice to see it confirmed in the credits.
I wonder if Beagle watches Ryan Celcius' mixes?

Might have been a shane or beagle stop and chat but I believe Kevin Romar is who did the whole mix for the video which makes it even better. Kept it in the SJ crew even with the music.

I’m ultra stoked to see Shane skate. Half cab crooks on a banana bench aren’t easy in mid 40s. I’ve always thought Shane was cool. His style is good. I dig his brand I remember Zimbabwe I think that’s funny I was into that stuff but whatever. I was out skateboarding looking for sex in my clean clothes.
Dude is still on a skateboard and that’s the sickest. My favorite skaters talk about him in high regard for a reason.
Shrimp blunt is an instant classic. More power to them

I didn't realize how many people were on the team. Baca and Neen's sections was one of my favorite parts. Only complaint is that they could've toned down the handshake b roll clips that appeared every 5 clips. Otherwise, solid vid.

One thing I want to mention is that the Soundtrack was top notch, great mixes. Kraftwerk and Dru Down remixes stood out to me. Such a great idea to mix a rap accapella over Kraftwerk. I was hyped to hear Dru Down as Can You Feel Me is an all time favorite and it was perfect for Baca.

video seems pretty toned down on the partying compared to other baker/shake junt videos, half the team is sober now.
Maybe they should change the name to bakery skateboards and all the b-roll footage is like greco making banana nut muffins and Reynolds drinking coffee

Couple random thoughts...
Never been a Shane fan, but after this video I actually think he deserves/deserved that pro status. Not because of talent or any of the original sorts of standards that being pro are measured with, but just because of what he does for skateboarding. Doesn't have to be multiple boards a season but maybe a couple sprinkled in over the course of a year. Again, not a fan, but you can't deny his involvement.
Beagle is kind of in that same place. From a low impact perspective, which is a thing these days, he's got all the pieces to run that. People love him and that has to count for something.
Kids these days don't seem to hate graphic grip like my generation.

Wasn’t really feeling it at first, but then I got really into it. Theotis, Dilo, Reynolds/Spanky, Neen, Baca, Zach Allen, Foy/Zion, and everyone else came through.
The music/mix was rad. My girl walked in during Shane’s section and was like “that’s that Ghostface song!” I almost shed a damn tear. Haha
Just a quick question: does Greco not skate or hang out with any of his friends anymore? Kinda weird that all these Baker/Deathwish vids have come out and he’s not in any of the clips or in the background.

He was at the Baker Boys warehouse skate-park just last month. He films almost exclusively with his own filmers. He wasn't in ChickenBone or any other ShakeJunt video and never seen him wear or skate anything with it so not surprised he wasn't in this. He has a specific artistic vision and doesnt seem the type for a homie vid.
What I was surprised about was no Braydon or Lizard King (who is skating Grizzly grip now) who were both prominent in previous vids. Braydon still skates SJ grip all the time and hangs with Beagle still.

Half cab noseslide by the Deathwish chick Victoria made me cringe a bit.
Reckon Dollin is moving any product these days? Almost feels like it might be better to hide him at this point.
Dee trying to shotgun a beer with a joint in his mouth seemed fitting.
Jamie Foy's switch fs crook to fakie flip crook line was pretty incredible.

I've started to really appreciate Beagle and Shane. They're the most consistently positive, good vibes skate rats around. As what remains of the "skate industry" continues on its downward trajectory of blind unquestioning devotion to corporate interests, the simple goodhearted lunacy of Shake Junt has started to feel almost profound. Good on those fools for keeping it going.

Supposedly, the honey makes it burn slower. I've had blunt wraps that claim they're "honey dipped", but I've never noticed a difference in how long it burns for.

Dude it has to be like a type of cigarillo, my friends and I did some research: sealing blunts with bbq sauce or honey; they do not smoke right & they smell terrible. The roach is all juicy & hot with sweet sticky rez. I tried to seal a backwoods with honey & it was like a fruit rollup that couldn't light right, but im more like Ken Bone than Bobby Digital so that's probably why

Makes sense. I just remember the outside leafs would get all loose. So we just rolled them inside out.
