That was nice. Great to see Silas and Booze still charging, and any Carlisle clips are always appreciated.
So many sick DIYs, holy shit.

At the risk of getting kooked to oblivion, who is the one girl (not Nora) and the small a bit burly dude who were killing it?
Edit: I mean the girl who kickflipped the bump to bar and the dude with the sick lines at the dyi in the end.

i’m in love with every trick carl aikens does in this
the woman is mariah duran (? i think)
-
I enjoyed Carl Aikens’ clips a lot, but sometimes his pants are just a bit much

I ain’t going to front, I can’t stand how that blind nigga has a better ledge game than me.

In the entire decade I've spent posting on slap, not once did I take the time to say anything positive about Felipe Gustavo, so let it be my first. I had no idea he's that consistent, smooth and hardworking at demos. The sw fs flip nosegrind back to switch was super nonchalant.

We all do…
Aikens is going to be around a long time. So good.
Everyone should pause and reflect on how perfect Silas’ hurricane was…

Felipe really stood out in this which is saying something considering the crew. So many crazy technical tricks at the demos.

looks like he started skating faster or something because i rarely remember shit from him but this was really good

this was a good watch, solid crew and footy. I like that they brought dan on the trip, you totally could just virtue signal by giving him shoes but they really got him out in the streets with the gang and that's sick. also this weirdly highlighted how few shoes Adidas has out these days, I mean they got the team in like 3 shoes and one color way of each and that's your actual team.

Man Aikens had some moves in this, great stuff

He’s been my example of a ‘guilty pleasure’ type. 2 things that have kinda plagued him weren’t present: complex flip trick into extremely minimal grind (more like a pivot off of the ledge), and some brutal 360 flip ‘steer’ (his 360 flip over that bench was great!).
Imma fan

Yeah credit where credit is due, Felipe crushed every stop. Never been a fan of his skating but I was in this edit. His flip into ledge game is razor sharp.
Mariah rips, proper flick. Hope she's got a full part coming soon.

That was amazing

No kidding. I thought his skating stood out at Tampa Pro, too. Like risking it all flipping into/out of shit on the flat bench. And I, too, have never been much of a fan. Keep it up.

Anyone have a rundown of where some of these spots are in the southeast.?
It doesn’t usually get a lot of shine, but a lot of these places look sick.

The first one ( partially under the bridge) is Parasite in New Orleans.

Funny how we’re all on the same boat about Felipe. Never really cared, he kissed the rail on everything, skated slow, and did a little too much. I feel like this edit proved he’s really coming into his own. Those first two ledge lines at Parasite with the Fakie tre nosegrind and then that sw fs flip ng180 really proved he’s got the goods. 3 flip over the bend in NOLA was so sick too.

Add me to the list, he killed it hard!
Also am really becoming a huge Herman Stene fan! Ive known about him but the footage he's come out with lately is just on another level

this was such a good watch
agreed that it was sick to see Felipe presented in this sort of raw manner. You can really see how talented he is, esp compared to the heavy hitters on this trip. For the record I don't think that's a new development, he's always been on another level. But i think he was in the worst edits and not presented in the best way.
busenitz footage was a straight up treat. he's still annihilating. could not believe that pole jam 180 manual thing.

Overall an awesome compilation. All substance, no filler. The usual suspects never fail to impress (Busenitz and Silas).
But yeah, Felipe and Mariah definitely upped their games.

The last DIY they skate looks like the one @TwisT frequents.
How tall is Tyshawn? Deck looking tiny under him.

Eastland and the farmers market next to it got burnt for a fucking like brewery or something about a month ago. I think that officially makes Charlotte the least skateable major metropolitan area in the US? That would be an interesting conversation

@rocklobster that footage is from a tour that was late last year. Zero, toy, adidas, and I think Red Bull (Jamie foy was here) all rolled thru before and after Tampa

Also tanner van cork did this insane noseblunt nollie flip out on the hard to skate bowl wall. He did it like 15 times as the first trick setup for a line. It was the hardest trick in the line imo
