Too lazy to think of many
PJ fakie tre fakie manny fakie tre out at the berrics comes to mind
-
it’s gotta be that one in that one video from a few years ago
-
Daewon wheel of wheel on takes some beating, like who else could/would persevere trying to do that?
-
Ramondetta ender from the Circa video.
Or something Dilo has done.
-
Daewon's ender in Skate More.
Tim O said it best. You could shoot that man mid-manuel and he wouldn't tap.
-
fakie tre fakie manual the stage i mean cmon
-
Gino
-
On the low…Dill’s Mindfield ender.
-
Cant be that one, it's misleadingly easy compared to how hard it looks..
Fakie tre is weird because the way it rotates allows you to pop RIGHT before the manny pad without hitting the pad before your boards popped enough, this basically takes the gap element completely away which is huge especially compared to something like a fakie heel fakie manny where just getting onto the pad feels like a massive gap, anytime you don't try to gap far the board just hits the edge on the way up.
Getting out is the same thing really, for some reason the fakie tre always clears the gap getting out but if you try a fakie manny fakie heel or flip out it just feels like there's such a large gap to clear..
I think it's the more advanced version of people being able to 180 up a higher ledge then they can ollie.
I really think the hardest good looking trick would be a fakie heelflip fakie manny heelflip.. any footage of this being done?
You could argue a fakie inward heel nose manny fakie heelflip out as well but while it's harder to flip you would be able to pop closer but still not as close as a fakie tre flip.
Any other argument would require being some type of switch manual such as a switch inward heel manual which you also have to pop early creating a massive gap to get on.. there isn't really a gap issue out of switch manuals tho, so you would have to do something really hard out.. So i'll say a switch inward heel manual switch bs heelflip out.
You could also argue some type of 360 manual but it would have to be PROPER
tdlr
the hardest COOL tricks i want to see are.
fakie heel fakie manny fakie heel
fakie inward heel fakie manny fakie heel
switch inward heel manny switch bs heel out
switch bs 360 manual
If anyone has footage of them let me see yo
-
Fakie inward heel does that same thing as fakie tre where it's a bit easier to get up something the straight fakie heel/flip.
Nugget or daewon will of done the hardest tech one
Dilo the best tech but also interesting
Ben Fisher really risked his ankles with some drop and gap to nosemanny stuff
Rob Welsh did the cab to fakie Manny (Chima and K walks also did it later) which is just a spine breaker
Chima did a pretty fucked gap to Manny in his last part
Jake brown Manny shove on a vert ramp.
Vov mega ramp fucked Manny's
Leo Romero overpass nosemanny nollie flip might be the very best tho.
-
Kenny Anderson adio one step beyond
-
Casey Rigney, nollie heel nose court house…Gino back 3 mannie? A couple of my faves…

Ave in the DC Video. You know the one
-
Marcello Campanello full cab switch nosewheelie stood out to me.
Same with Rob Gonyon nosewheelie to nosewheelie Wall Street (?) is another one.
Probably both far from best for a lot of people but yeah they’re up there for me.
Edit: I was almost forgetting Hugo Maillard and his fakie flip sw nosemanny down that mellow stairset.
-
tfunk nose manual in sf
-
Daewon is the right answer

-
Corey Chrysler Debunker.
-
Always been a fan of manuals.
as far as skaters who have done tasteful manuals, daewon, bobby dekeyzer, preston harper, biebel come to mind,
Random favorite manual: Last trick in this part
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqqQj0xXmI8
also kenny hoyle's switch manny switch heel out 3up-3down in his kayo part.
If you're balancing for more than 3-4 seconds before flipping out or exiting the wheelie, manuals can be super boring though.
-
Victor Campillo's ender in this is up there
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPobLnEo2bY (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPobLnEo2bY)
-
Dilo, brian peacock or darwin
-
That random insta clip where the guy switch heels over a bench to manny then switch ollies over another bench.
-
Daewon's ender in Skate More.
Tim O said it best. You could shoot that man mid-manuel and he wouldn't tap.
Don't make Daewon angry in the middle of a manual
He might flip out.
-
I always liked the fakie varial flip fakie nosewheelie Gino did in Yeah Right.
-
any 180 to fakie manual looks so good
-
Currently Deedz.
Could not believe when he did fs board fakie manny @ 4:23
https://youtu.be/bPiHbCENdWk
He’s great at manuals without getting overly tech.
-
Daewon's ender in Skate More.

Daewon is the right answer
-
I like both of Dill's switch 180 manny back 3 outs.
-
Rob Welsh halfcab heel nose manual nollie bs flip out at Pier 7. Shout out Biebel ender too.
AVE switch manual 360 flip.
Daewon
-
chris milic dr. scarecrow ender
-
On the low…Dill’s Mindfield ender.
This was also my favorite manual that came to mind
-
Daewon or flo marfaing. They both have too many that could be counted as the best manny trick ever.
-
Daewon round 3 ender
-
Daewon declared himself king of the manual for all time with Round 3. I don’t know if we’ll ever see that level of skill and obsession for manual tricks ever again.
-
Agreen with Daewon and PJ
I'll add Sewa to the mix, he's done some incredible manuals too
Just in his IOU part:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MQynUrUDY4 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MQynUrUDY4)
- 0:41 nollie heel nosemanny nollie 180 double kickflip out
- 1:56 tre double flip nollieflip out
- 3:30 switch lateflip manual switch lateflip out
- 3:42 hardflip manual, then kickflip to nosemanual, nollie hardflip out
-
Stevie, switch heelflip fakie manual fakie hardflip out (choc tour)
Dilo, fs flip fakie manual fs halfcab flip out (boss fight)
Igei, tre flip nose manual nollie tre flip out (static 2)
PJ, fake tre fakie manual fakie tre (bangin)
Not the hardest ever but I'm sure still super fucking hard, MJ manual tre flip over gap to manual (yeah right)
-
When I do a fakie manny across a parking space and feel like a God
-
apparently Crob did sw flip manual at the courthouse. can anyone verify this?
-
Perfect technique
(https://media.giphy.com/media/dC7djjZbouTt3zKnel/giphy.gif)
-
that manual bs 180 to fakie manual MJ did in Pretty Sweet always stuck out to me
-
i can't find it right now but i believe Walker Ryan did a switch bs 360 manual down a banked manny pad a long time ago, that one would take incredible control
while i was looking i also noticed he did nose manual nollie flip into the NYC courthouse bank to drop which is pretty nuts
Dilo's obviously done some crazy ones. nose manny nollie down that like 12 or 13 stair
switch ollie over the wall to drop to switch manny switch flip at MACBA
my fave is prolly Wenning switch manual switch varial heel in Barcelona in Mosaic
-
At the time. Vallely. Rubbish Heap. One upped Thiebaud's Speed Freak one.
-
Anything @pekkaaa does on insta is pretty boss as well
-
What about Gino? bs 360 manny down the roslyn banks, you gotta take your hat off to him
-
Tyson Bowerbank did back 360 kickflip nose manny. Good luck finding another one of those out there
Straight mannies with no body rotations seem too simple to be the best ever. Whenever someone does a 180 in then 180's out the opposite way, its incredible. I could never control my upper body like that, and it's so rare to see that I'm assuming very few people are capable of that kind of control.
This thread is really dating a lot of you
-
The way Tiago fs flipped into this fakie manual will be forever ingrained in my mind.
http://youtu.be/TkviRm1ViMk?t=168
Brian Peacock has to be up there, for example with this sw tre sw manual sw tre.
http://youtu.be/k8vfrur1Mio?t=335

idk about best single trick but all of aaron loreth's manuals

Your opinion would change if you went to a manny pad today and tried to fakie ollie switch manual, there is a reason people learn fakie half cab and fakie big spins before them and it's not because they are too good for a simple trick like fakie ollie switch manual.
-
I always liked Dill's mindfield ender on family court. Also maybe not "best" but the switch 180 nose manual max palmer did on the bronx courthouse spoke to me for some reason
-
I like a lot of the back breaker and 360 into manny shit that’s been done. Would love to see some kind of forward flip into a manual or nose manual. Fakie forward flip to fakie manual would be fucked.
Also love how people are getting more creative with the manuals these days, doing them to gaps/stairs, after gaps, doing them tastefully on flat etc. feel like manuals are a major place where innovation can still happen in skating.

i know a local at my park that can't boardslide a flat bar or do a crooked grind on a ledge but has forward flip manny almost every try, no clue what's going on with him but i'll try to get him to try it fakie next time i see him
-
to each their own, but a fakie forward flip sounds like it looks horrible
-
Ramondetta ender from the Circa video.
I’m backing this one
-
to each their own, but a fakie forward flip sounds like it looks horrible
to be fair I’ve only seen 2, one in a video off a small ledge and it looked ok, one in person that looked really dope because it was popped high and caught well. Definitely a trick that could be vulnerable to some very fucking wack yo-flip esque bullshit.

Frickin fereal kid.
Also kelly has the best courthouse manual. You can’t like take away all that came before in skateboarding just because the pad is high.
The best mannys in history already happened. Skateboarding was over by the time kelly did that. He’d tell you yeah hes right. Skateboarding was over before WHL and photosynthesis dropped. That’s why those videos are so special.
Kelly and PJ got made in skateboarding on the berries. It’s a fucking sin.
Anyway
The backside trick fakie manny is trumps in manny skateboarding.
Kelly’s style in that one puts him in the running bmoat
and the difficulty of throwing the trick that high makes it special.
After I saw Hensley go over a table into nose manny it was over for me. I love manny skateboarding.
Daewon Howard Gino Frank Dilo (Farkus maybe time will tell)

I lost my shit when I saw this. This is skateboarding for skateboarding. Normies will never ever comprehend the trick.
Thank the dark lord for Mango.

Creager's switch 360 flip fakie manny in a line a la Trilogy . For sure not the best manny trick ever but back then in a line that was pretty wild i thought .

My favorites up until now:
Tiago frontside flip fakie manual courthouse (Henry Sanchez did it first at the world park and it always blew my mind)
Kelly Hart fakie 360 flip fakie manual courthouse
Casey Rigney nollie heel nose manual courthouse
Bobby D bs 360 nosemanual
Lucas full cab fakie manual come out fakie
Ocean Howell frontside halfcab flip to nose manual
Absolutely sure there are crazier ones, but these always made me hyped.
-
Albert Nyberg did a manual pivot to fakie manual to fakie kickflip under flip in Prehistoric that was pretty nuts
-
My favorite is MJ in Yea Right. Manny tre gap manny. It was just so clean. Didn’t JT Aultz nose manny down the Penny chain bank in SD? Pretty sure some did it and it was him. That seems completely fucked
-
In Since Day One Busenitz does a back biggie to fakie manny. Lands switch (doesnt do the 180 ) That shit is pretty wild. The ledge is not low either

a fakie nose manny just requires you go fast.
Would my opinion change if I've been doing manny's for 20 years, maybe? Great insight into half cab mannies, never realized those are easy. You have truly shared some knowledge. Thank you, oh wise one.

Wrong, go fast at them and you'll notice your board hits the manny pad on the way up because it doesn't have time to finish popping before it runs into the pad.
The only way to fix that is to then pop even FURTHER away making the gap harder when the entire point of going fast was to make the gap easier in the first place..

Jon Igei’s static 2 ender is one of my favorites… tre flip nose manual tre flip out at the pier..
-
Bryan Herman kick flip nose manny in Stay Gold
-
Danny Garcia
Nollie inward heel nosemanual nollie heel out

Honestly I like weck style. I’d go dig the clips up but I’m lazy. He’s on the level above in them melting a tall street pad.
-
Kelly shuv nose manny nollie tre. Not the best tho
I been looking at bochclips
-
I saw some video with Tiago and Mark in dc.
Tiago carves in to back 80 super long fakie manny. He’s fakie af. He did like halfcab flip out or something. All style. That one was of the best I’ve seen in a while
-
Heath Kirchart's mach 10 picnic table switchflip manual from Mosaic is a good one

I'll add Dane Brady's anti-lawncare nose manual at around 2:22

Nick Tucker at the courthouse is pretty insane

-
https://youtu.be/wWTOm-ZFY3w
My favorite recent one was John Shanahan at 3:01 - fakie bigspin, manual, bigspin on the curved bench. Not normally a fakie bigspin fan but he executed the whole trick with impeccable style.
-
Ave in the DC Video. You know the one
I'd either go with this, or MJ's Manual tre manual in umm Tilt Mode
-
Shane nollie tre nose manny nolie tre
-
maybe not the best ever but daewon had the switch 360 flip nose manny fakie flip out down 3 stairs in round 3, it's one of my favorites because of how he caught that switch tre, so precise
-

Best all-around manual? Fakie manual fakieflip out, or maybe also fakie tre out.
Fav manual on film?
