So sick.
Love the éS resurgance.
-
Wow. I tend to forget about him for a while and then I see a part and I think 'Damn, this guy is up there with the best of them'. The fs and bs nollies over the huge rail were incredible, as was the last nollie flip.
Best of luck for you TJ, you got this!
-
He did all of that on Tensor Trucks.
-
He did all of that on Tensor Trucks.
jesus. surely they must give the pros something totally different to what they pump out to the public.
i had a pair about 3 years ago (gift) and they were genuinely worse than no-name generic pairs i've had with completes.
-
Some Menikmati vibes with that first song. The team clips were sick, Johnny Hernandez being a standout.
TJ has been unstoppable. May it continue for years to come.
Dope sheet éS
-
That was the best part of the year, so far. That sw flip back tail flip out was so good. So many things to love. TJ is too sick for Blind, would be a good fit on April.
-
Wow, that was really good. Switch bs lipslide on the Toronto Skydome rail is insane. I like how he skated a bunch of old spots that were popular in the 2000s/2010s that haven't really been seen in years.
-
who da' fuck is matt chaffin?
but for real, TJ killing it.
-
Wow that nollie back 180 over the Hollywood 16 fence was gnarly. I hope that we get to see more of him soon. You got this!!! We are all rooting for you.
-
Holy fucking shit and all with prediagnosed cancer?
That switch back lip was one of my favorite clips of the year and the headphones only made it better.
Hollywood high and ender were just absurd. Also liked the noseslide 270s on the out ledges
-
I really hope he kicks cancers ass first and foremost.
That part was good as hell. The guy has it all. Classic, traditional well done street skating will always be iconic.
-
I lost my shit at that first switch back lip... if you know, you know
-
What is that second song? Ghostface? I'm a little conflicted, because TJ is one of my favorite skaters (maybe the most underrated out there), but the storytelling in that song is so good that I literally could not focus on the skating in 2nd half of the part.
-
that was nuts

As opposed to all the people who just don't give gnarly switch back lips the respect they deserve? Dude we all know.

this guy knows 8)

Impeccable.

definitely felt that, was tight haha

take that stick out of your ass, cause it sure as hell wasn't me who put it there.
I'm referring to knowing the size of that rail... it's a fucking beast - that doesn't mean I'm disregarding other SS BS lips and that's not what I'm saying at all.
yeeeeeeeeeeesssshhh
clearly, you don't know.
-
Very, very, very good!
-
That was so good. No filler just heavy clips.

Yeah, Ghostface. ‘Shakey Dog’
It’s on the Fishscale album.
Perfect song for that part. Edited beautifully. Lovely.
-
Dude is fucking ripping
-
boul cant miss
-
The first nollie flip over the bar that shiftied (not the ender) was so sick. This whole part was excellent

My fav ghostface track, not disappointed to hear it here.

Imagine being this good, but every time you flip your board you get a glimpse of that fucking cartoon reaper....
-
that was incredible and I back this dude, but those Red Bull pants were painful to see!
-
Why am I okay with the Reaper now?
Damn.
He has that much sway?
Part was sick. So much to digest.
-
Dude rips
-
wish him all the best in his fight against cancer
-
Very good skater, very good tune!
Big ups TJ, sending my best wishes, and a speedy recovery!

Was thinking about that myself. I think (at least for me) it's because they've been repping blind for so long it's like fuck it you've earned it.
-
The craziest trick here is him getting me to contemplate picking up a Blind deck in the year of our lord 2022.
Dude is fucking crushing it. Sending healing vibes his way.
-
when you do such a gnarly sw back lip that even the crowd cheers. good shit all around

Roy Thompson Hall is the spot with the black marble ledges. I dont know why more people dont skate that out ledge, it was always one of my favorite spots. I think its just hard to get something that isnt ABD on it. It is the same spot he ollies up onto the black ledge then nollie flips over the fence. It is crazy how much stuff has gone down over that, just about everything, but i dont think straight nollie flip has been done because look how fucked that was. i think that was his best part yet, he went all city to so many good spots. jumps down stuff same size as decenzo too but way more technical.
blind boards dont even look that bad right now. id actually say they have better graphics than most of the companies out there. Blind has always had the best graphics on dwindle besides maybe cliche. i would say they have better graphics than April at least anyway. lots of kids like blind so i get it as an adult you dont really want to rock it, but i think it serves its place well without being too corny!!
-

c'mon you know who that is ;)

Darkstar graphics > Blind graphics > Almost and Enjoi Graphics
Nothing beats Darkstar graphics

With all the great TJ content lately, I found myself thinking the same. And then this video came out and I changed my mind:

TJ Rogers seems like a rad dude on and off the board.
He skates at a high level with good style and stays relevant with contests and stuff (not like that matters to me personally) - I’d love to see eS get behind him harder with a legit pro shoe or something not just a colorway. eS seems to do a lot for Tom Asta and Wade (who’s obviously a legend) but both of those guys seem a little past their prime of productively pushing the boundaries of professional skating at this point. Why not try to live in the now with your brand instead of riding Tom Penny’s coattails.

éS was liking comments on Instagram about a TJ pro shoe so fingers crossed

That reaper looks fresh under TJ's feet. I haven't been able to say that since the Ronnie Creager days.
Switch backlip Skydome rail caught me off guard. I knew TJ was good, but damn that's just legendary!
-
nollie fs 180 is one of my fave tricks and that one near the end was god tier
really feel tj has it all
-
this part was so good, reminded me of his Blind This is not a Test part, but with baggier clothes. Love the Fakie big spin.
Only thing I don’t vibe with is white dudes wearing fubu.
-
Chad move to have the SW BS Lipslide for intro tricks for his part.
-
Part incredible.

This Is Not a Test was an underrated video in my opinion. His part in that was rad. I also occasionally remember that TJ switch front 3’d Hollywood 16 and that’s pretty bananas.

Custom pants, he puts the RB patch on.

I thought RB doesn't allow that, ie pros are only allowed to wear RB provided apparel and must return the clothes after retiring them. Can't hand them out to kids at the park or sell to goodwill.

He had an interview a year or so ago where he basically said he told them he was over wearing the hats, and they were down to let him do the patch thing as a compromise. That's a very watered down paraphrase though.
-
fuck, he beast! In an alternative universe he would have good sponsors (eS suits him though) and could be in the running for SOTY with that part.
Lots of great stuff in there, nose blunt up that ledge/ stairs was low key fucked tho, as was the nose blunt nollie flip out (how does that even work?).
Also, as someone who does both variations of those nose slide 270 tricks (albeit poorly and on curbs) I was surprised at how good he made them look!
-
Late on this, but Jesus TJ is so goddam good. Was that a switch fs tail switch hardflip out on that curved ledge?

Could see him on Primitive with Spencer Hamilton and Wade D

for sure, and if he was on primitive he would be getting a LOT more props for this part
-
this part is simply heroic
the glimpses of the reaper hit different when you factor in his diagnosis, wishing him all the best
-
so sick, the ghostface track only adds to it
im dumb and i dont know if anyone does this shit (+ i doubt it happens bc they dont share a sponsor), but a tiago tj shared part feels so right to me
-
This is really fucking cool
-
Just stumbled over this on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2MJS-lKQqw
-
Just realized the custom Red Bull pants, probably got sick of wearing their caps all the time which can lead to premature balding.

i stopped wearing hats for awhile cause i tohught maybe this could hit me but now i am back on them again cause i dont wanna get skin cancer. i been had a receding hairline since high school, dont think its moved, fuck it at this point
-
He did all of that on Tensor Trucks.
Tensor trucks are sick Bruce, especially the regs that he skates.
