I say this as a huge Guy fan.. seriously one of my all time favorite skaters, but how is he getting any new sponsors right now? Hasn’t had a part in almost what a decade? Aside from some IG clips and a photo here and there he’s been absent from skating for what seems like ages. During that time he got a colorway on Nike, a new pro model on Thunder, now he’s on dickies. I don’t get it.
Edit: I completely forgot Numbers was a thing, but IIRC he didn’t have any output during that time either.

Wrong hill to die on my guy...Plenty of "pros" out there unjustly living off of yesteryear but folks like Guy, Gino, Henry, etc are not the ones to call out.

I’m pretty sure his sponsors know Guy’s liable to disappear from skateboarding for years at a time cause he’s been doing that since Video Days.

I think given this past year has had the most guy related news in years that will probably appear in the near future. One can hope after that little ig compilation edit. If that’s what’s hes up to for fun I feel like we’re in for something cool whenever a part might drop.

christ, i hope so. he's the only pro who's signature i've kept over all these years. it's still on my wall, on a marc johnson chocolate board. i just want a final hurrah, then he can just hang with chico and do whatever he wants

It seems like Guy has been skating this whole time, and probably has soooo much footage stacked.
Some of those IG clips have been rad, so I’m assuming he’s got a bunch of bangers and hopefully some dork stuff filmed.
Fingers crossed that we’ll get a nice long part sooner than later!

Yeah, he hasn't put a part out but he's put out crazy IG clips every week for like the past decade and in today's world that matters more to sponsors

I think if this was anyone else at the same age but wasn’t guy, there would be more of a fuss.
Kinda wondering if this is just a lifestyle endorsements and not the same value as a pro skater, being guy is a big influence on skateboarding still, it’s cool to see he’s able to market himself this way if it were.
The downside, if he’s getting paid a heap of money that could have gone to supporting 10 up and coming skaters, i imagine that’s be where the line would be drawn.
