I've been skating for 20+ years in the UK. Followed skating pretty obsessively for most of that too. Are skate mental a real brand?! I feel like ive only ever heard of this brand on here. I've never seen a deck of there's in real life, not sure ive ever even seen an ad.
Have they had any videos? I've never heard of any of this shit. Weird.

He confounded that company with malto so he probably makes very little off it. It’s just another skate endeavor to try and get bought like they did with st archer .they even rebranded villager into a canned cocktail company . It’s kinda funny watching them all try and hit the jackpot twice especially after coors just shut down st archer.

I've seen a Skate Mental in a local shop a few times, but it's always the worst graphic and only ones in the wild were local cool guys/Staba friends. I think they sell fairly well at Vans, Zumiez, and similar shops.

Agreed, Former's aesthetic, as basic as it is, is actually really original and suprisingly unique in skateboarding. Not a lot of brands have melded the worlds of surf and skate so tastefully, nor have succeeded with so little branding. Curren on Former would have been a no brainer and would probably throttle them into the mainstream.
I hope this new Curren part is for Vans, not Staba
