You should checkout where parts are being manufactured, the skillsets of employees (they might not even need traditional college), and try and figure out how exactly people get in on those jobs.

Just be aware of the "seeing how the sausage is made" effect.

Graphic design/fashion might be good too. You could design boards n clothes.

NHS and DLX will post up back-office production roles on their Insta, like production planner or graphic designer type jobs. Could be worth checking out for an internship.

I think there's a reason they use prison labour. Way back in the skateboard com.au days I think the coretech guy told of how they got arthritis in their hands from shaping wheels. No doubt all aspects of skateboard production have you breathing in some toxic shit.
