How is anyone a fan of this dude in any way, shape, or form? Around 2008 when Deathwish was blowing up a small group of my friends got on their, "hail Satan," love GG Allin trip. This guy has raped people on stage, has talked about raping kids and animals, literally throws his shit at people, and worst of all, his music STINKS!!!
Are there any legitimate fans here? Can anyone break down what this dude's appeal is to me, because I just don't see it, and I haven't for years..

Sure, the man did horrible things, but you leave out the fact that these horrible things would prepare his victims for later in life when they happened again. He explains this in detail on his Jerry Springer appearance.

He definitely had some great tracks in the early days, the Jabbers stuff and some of those earliest singles.

I learned much later on that most of his more well-known songs are complete rip-offs of semi-obscure 70's pop songs, just with the lyrics changed. Yeah, the guy sucked and the majority of his music was garbage. Most of the kids that run around with GG "Hated" shirts would've run in the other direction had they encountered him.
Funny well-known side note... the guy who directed 'The Joker' is the same guy who made 'Hated'.

Myself I love GG. I just missed being old enough to go.
Our kids won’t miss their opportunity to see punk history begin possibly. We take them to shows regularly.
Gg was so good people backed him up. Just gg and a paper bag with a jockstrap and some booze. Gg wasn’t a junky when he died. He was the king of rock and roll and it was ugly af.

Haven't listened to this dude in years. I used to as a highschool teen since all the older heads who grew up on misled youth and pissdrunx put us on. But now that I'm older, i realize dude was a pile.
I wonder what the kids are listening to now.

The jabbers are actually a cool band, But yeah all the super edgy rape and murder stuff that came later (Texas Nazis, Murder Junkies, Illegitimate children) was pretty lame. No doubt GG sucked as a person though, But don't forget lots of shitty people have done some cool shit, especially in music.
