Title: Should I loosen my trucks so I can properly lock into Crooked grinds?

My Crooked grinds feel like they lock in like nosegrinds with the whole truck on the ledge, would buying some soft bushings help i feel like for that trick alone it would be worth being unstable for a while

I learned crooked grinds by loosening my trucks and it definitely helped.
