Yeah and 55 falls between 54 and 56 just like 57 falls between 56 and 58. So where does it end with you? Are 53mm wheels stupid? 51mm?

I too am skating 55mm. It's a nice size actually but you don't see too many options. They are pretty trash wheels though... Bones 100s.

58s are too big for me but I like 56s so I feel like 57s are a great alternative.

Also if there was a mixup and a bunch of 53s got printed with graphics for 52s bet pretty much nobody would ever notice

i bailed on getting a new set of wheels the other day cause all they had were 52's, which is what i normally ride, but i wanted to get 53's so that i didn't just buy a new set of wheels to only have them be 51's in a couple weeks
basically what i'm saying is i'm tired of eating boiled eggs for lunch everyday and still not being able to afford new wheels since my birthday in 2020
don't even get me started on my trucks that look like a highway accident

When I was on a budget, I used to often get wheels a mm bigger than desired so they were at optimal size a bit after break in and last longer... Also if you like a wider wheel, a 57mm when worn to 56mm with have a more desirable shape.

I've just heard about this thing in the last coulple of months. Wheel mm number dissing and yah its crazy. For me 54s don't work without risers while 53s do but somehow even that (53s? or prime number wheels?) became uncool. Seriously its a sign of the fuckin times.
