Title: Anyone with FAI?

If so, how does it impact your skating? Did you get surgery or have to adapt your setup or rehab?

I don't know about FAI but I do suffer from hip impingement on my pushing leg. Sometimes I'll bring a strap to the park and I'll do some of this work to help with some separation

Also get to know Kelley Starrett he literally wrote the book on modern physical therapy

Definitely familiar with Kelley and have actually received support for him directly. I am more interested in how it might influence the way people do tricks, setup details, anything they've learned to skate around a structural limitation.

I have it, got surgery after 2 years of me almost getting better but fucking up again. I went to a great surgeon and feel worse than before. Find a good PT before you conisder surgery. I had to go to 12 over 5 years before i found 2 that helped. People have FIA their whole life without knowing strong hips are all that matter.
