Was the editor a big fan of early 2000s Muska edits and of Menikmati? Some people just draw from the worst influences. Some of this tricks and lines were real nice ;(

i actually really liked the track they used. if they just cut the stupid intro, the bit about the lost footage, and didn't inexplicably put most of the best clips after the credits, it would've been a pretty good watch
that being said, sorta feels like he's holding back here? was hoping to see some of the stuff he does in contests on sick street spots like pop shuv back smith, kickflip front tail/lip, fs heel, etc. (i know there was a kf front tail and kf front lip in there but he's definitely capable of doing those tricks on huge obstacles)
wonder if he has another part coming this year

I really tolerate a lot in edits man. Shit ass SoundCloud rappers born in 2003, generic stoner rock, obese Willy’s pedophilic zoom habits, but man, that is fit completely fucking ruined this part. I don’t even remember anything and Vincent fucking rips.

Same thoughts here. Easily my favorite dude skating contests but nothing here really had me impressed by any means. I was ready for this to be a potential part of the year contender

My thought exactly. I assumed there would be a bunch of millisecond cuts to black the way People are complaining. but dudes issue is that they used a DNB song... which had it been in the Uber cool Palace edit Pals would be head over heels for it, but since pizzas lame ass used it it's a crime against skateboarding.
Just say you don't like Pizza as a brand or admit you dislike most Palace videos too

The reason why it doesn't fit here is the filming and flow is disjointed. Do Palace videos start with a minute plus of random ass bro lifestyle footage? Are they filmed on tons of different formats by filters of different styles and then mashed together? Is there no flow to when specific buildups to marquee tricks happen? Like if you watch a Palace video the music matches the general rhythm and flow of the part. That shit is super basic and to fuck that up when even Shorty's was doing that 20 something years ago is a pretty big miss.
The dude is clearly really good, but it screams "we want to copy Palace and Bronze but don't know what the fuck we're doing". Just how their brand is supposed to be a spoof-oriented brand, but they manage to do it the worst of any company to the point where it's just so, so bad.

the issue was that everything in the part seemed poorly timed with no flow or build, coupled with the random inclusion of contest footage filmed on an iphone. go project your insecurities about palace (or whatever's bothering you i can't really tell) somewhere else
