Yes. Make it happen if you can. I went this year and absolutely loved it. I came from Seattle, spent too much money, and went at a pretty inconvenient time for my job. So it wasn’t exactly convenient but I don’t give a fuck. So worth it. I’m definitely going again next year

It was a pretty quick game. It was still fun to watch but Alexis did take it in a few rounds. I don't think either of them skated the other challenges either so they might not have been warm.

anyone else feel like instagram kinda ruined the rollout for this recap video? why wait for this when people were constantly posting everything onto their stories. skateboarding should figure out a way to livestream stuff like this

what? you didn't have to watch those stories. And if you just wanted to watch the whole recap as a whole, just wait for it. Do you have any idea how stupid you sound?
That said I'm stoked there was both stories and a recap... the recap was filmed and edited like a vid, and the stories came out as is, bro cam style and got me hyped on the event. Obviously the IG stories couldn't capture everything, hence the recap... which still didn't get it all.

So much this. His schtick was funny when he was a kid. As an adult, he drives me bonkers.
Finally, I like when the skaters actually try to go through the foam cut outs. It isn't as fun when they just run into the cut out.

Decenzo is the most underrated skater ever. I have no idea how his knees have yet to explode! Certainly the best contest ever.

Part of it is in this video from about 4:07 on. Starts when Alexis has S-K and Breezy has nothing. Not sure what happened before that but Alexis just runs it the rest of the game. I have a feeling you're right and they don't want to show it but we'll see, there have been times in the past when it gets posted as a separate video and isn't included in the official recap. If there was ever a year to just throw some clips of it in the official recap instead of a separate video, seems like this would've been the year

This is exactly why I got rid of Instagram in like 2016. I kept seeing the enders to videos that weren’t even out yet and it was pissing me off lmao.

Every skate contest is turning into a big best trick event.
SLS, CPH Open, Dime, the "mini car wash" and Hubba Hideout.
I know some still include the old school 60 second run format and Tampa Pro is more about the runs than best trick (have no idea about X Games these days)
I guess the best trick format suits skateboarding in this era since the level is so high.
The tricks you have to do in your run nowadays are just too difficult to do consistently, so there are so much bails even in a final it's frustrating to watch.
