Switch fs heel and nollie bs heel killer :) I love his flip and ledge game and it is strange that there wasn't an appreciation tread for Pat Channita. I will start this tread with my favourite four videos of him.
I have been a fan since i saw Second Hand Smoke. His part and of course Jeremy's part have been the ones i watched the most.

Pat's profile in 411 issue 34 is my favourite.

His part in Powell Magic video is also dope.

The last one i found recently, but i fuckin love it. This is his part from a friends video called Mongo Madness from 2011 or something.

He kind of disappeared from the industry spotlight, but it seems he has never stopped shredding, even now at 45 he still has great fun on board :)

Pats sick, good tread

First interview I ever read, was in a skate one mail order catalog. Thought his answers were funny and his skating was insane. The P.A.T!
-
His biggest sin was making everything look too damn easy.
And sticking on Powell longer than he should have.

I was just about to mention that, didn't he have a trick tip too? Or was that a different issue maybe? I think I remember a frontside 360 ollie one from him (might have been something else, it's been 25 years). Of course one of those that didn't explain the trick was read just like, pop, spin 360 degrees then land and roll away.
Thanks for making this thread, I binge-watched every part in OP last night, still so good and I had never seen the 2011 one. There's something to be said about his frontside flip over the bench at the start of that one line in Magic, it's literally perfect. One of my first favorite skaters.

He could have been great fit for chocolate/girl but it is what it is.

Patch! I was just watching Interface, his part is ridiculous. I can't find it on the interwebs, so you'll just have to come over and watch my VHS. Mom said we can make Kool-Aid and then go jump on the trampoline after.

Here is another one for bones from the good old days, partnering with another favourite ripper - Javi :)

And the long haired Pat kicking the Revolution for plan b in 97 - everything on bolts :)

Damn. So good. He was doing big stairs and rails and tech ledge tricks back then. Pretty advanced for the time.

That 411 part is fucked. Better then the vast majority of dudes now.

Channita is awesome. Wish I could do some of those heelflip variations. The 411 part is bonkers and the song is sick. Souls of Mischief - Step To My Girl
-
I watched the shit out of that 411 part in early high school.. and yeah, the song is perfect

I love Roy Orbison

Over Thanksgiving I met Jeremy and Pat at the Brea skatepark for a session. Both of them are super down-to-earth, real dudes who love skateboarding and still rip. Great to see this thread.
