Mariano's FF part is "gross"? Why? What does that even mean?
Dude dropped off the planet then came back out of nowhere with the final part in a stacked video.
By the time Pretty Sweet came out he was pushing 40, how much more do you demand from the guy?
I'm not saying you have to agree with me, but shitting on him is just corny.

I don't demand anything from him, but filming one part then not putting out anything else for a decade is not even close to a comeback, let alone the greatest comeback in the history of skating.
I rewatched it and it wasn't as bad as I remembered, but it's still far away from being a SOTY worthy part like so many people say it is.
Feeble to Smith is gross
Lipslide to krook is gross
Lipslide frontside flip is gross
Few other lipslide combos that were not favorable.
Respect for an older guy getting it, but he is far from a goat. Definitely could have been a goat if he stayed around with the right work ethic. Maybe you could argue he is a goat in the under 16 age bracket for his video days part. But after that he's just whatever.

Nothing he did on a skateboard hasn't been outshined 10 fold by countless others.
Even everything about his personality, like even his wacky whiteboy gangster personality, Jeremy Rogers took that vibe and ran way harder with it haha

I know he shared it with koston but he has a part in Pretty Sweet. He had nearly 10 minutes of footy between 5 years and 2 full lengths. Not on par with today's crazy output but not exactly doing nothing for a decade.

He had that On Video part in 2014 that was so good. Guy was never a footage machine- he only had two great parts in the 90s, and they were five years apart. So only occasionally putting out parts is a comeback as far as Guy is concerned.

Brandon Turner hasn’t? I love Brandon. He does some of the grossest tricks- tre flip roast beef? Come on dude that’s so ugly. But he’s like “I like them and I’m going to keep doing them”. You gotta respect that, at least I do. One of my favorite skaters.
So Brandon Turner is the best at street flips to grab. I don’t think anyone else is even in the conversation.

on vert there is A LOT of categories Vov is the GOAT in i would say. people already said switch and i would say bob's ability to do obstacles added on to ramps covers a lot of ground for him. fakie 5-0 flip out at x games on the boosted out flat bar. blunt fakie on the picnic table from anthology. all the mega ramp to rainbow rail madness.

It's all a matter of opinion in the end anyway my friend. Never seen that before but the length was sick just didn't have the look-over-the-shoulder style I yearn for.
-
yeah i thought about that too, he does have a weird body posistion on that one. he has better ones where he does look over the shoulder.
-
Cory Juneau is definitely in the conversation with Cardiel, it is crazy. Cardiel changed the game though and kind of opened the door for Cory to be able to do that trick that freely like that.
-
For rain, Creager comes to mind.

Might get overruled on this one but I'm voting Scott Oster for slasher grinds, frontside and backside. Untouchable in my opinion
