Yeah I was thinking the same thing to myself though a little less extreme. Certainly seems like something worthy of a sequence to properly show the trick. I assume he just hauled ass up the weird triangular bank with what might be a healthy strip of bondo in the middle?

Yeah, for sure. Repo Man is classic; Harry Dean Stanton and Emilio Estevez's best performance and Alex Cox's best film. The soundtrack is just as classic too.

I mean AA didn't really fit AH trick selection wise either and although the brand trends towards Hellride and transition skating, their core ethos is being a group of dudes that can travel anywhere and skate almost anything. Even tho Nick gets pretty tech he skates the entirety of cityscapes- banks, street gaps, stairs, rails, ledges, etc. so in that sense he kinda fits.
His best fit would probably have been Real in like 2001 or so and Quasi was pretty good, but AH isn't bad and helps round out the brand with fresh blood. In his interview he said he skated a pool with GT and props to him for doing so on fucking Venture Lo haha.

This spot is jacked, lost a good chunk of skin doing nollie nose manny from the top into the bank. I know Nick personally, he went up the bank. So crazy and one of my favorite photos shot in the city.

i think it’s rad he’s on anti-hero. they desperately need something different, he’s a weirdo (that isn’t fair, i don’t know him, never met him, he just seems quiet/different, and thus a good anti-hero), and amazing at skating in the streets. perfect fit.
