Tanner is so fucking good, he lands some uncommon but cool shit. I didn't know Patrick was so good too.
-
incredible skating. really like Patrick's style. we love a front shuv king
-
Tanner is FUCKED I love it
-
You could say he's the best skater ever and not be wrong (tanner)
-
Tanners tricks are fucked.
Also Dan Mancina front blunt was crazy.

Absolutely. Next time I dont commit to a front blunt I will remember that. Never really cared about Gage but damn he has some snap! Whole real team is so talented, loved the short montages in between. Gwaan Real!

praman fucks. that flat ground nollie back heel after the table nose blunt >
-
great skateboarding from everyone. Patrick has such clean smooth style
-
Can't wait to watch when I get home.
I guess I'm just used to seeing this, but I figured Gage and Patrick would have turned pro at the premier. Guess we'll have to wait just a little longer to see that happen.
-
That was awesome all around. Tanner is the wallie champ.
-
Yeah wow that was amazing. Mancina’s front blunt and tanner’s 5050 back 180 switch 5050 were my favorites I think. Busenitz clip was cool too
-
if you want to describe what a skater on REAL looks like, Gage is probably the best answer
-
Made me wanna go skate.
Gonna be in rotation for a while.
-
just an unreal team
-
Stacked roster.
-
im bored
-
Great all around smooth skating.
-
Tanner's red square boardslide was absolutely fucked.
-
lol at the last guy eyeballing the camera a handfull of times. Mancina's trick stood out big time.
-
Stacked roster.
They have 13 current pros so far but Jake Donnelly and Schaff should be moved to the forever section. Crazy how Dennis and Chima are the OGs of the team now.

-
Real is 33 years old and has never been corny for good reason.
-
praman fucks. that flat ground nollie back heel after the table nose blunt >
he's incapable of having bad style. just floating everywhere
-
Really enjoyed the song selection for Patrick’s part
This was crazy ↓

a ton of filler but some amazing stuff, gage has bad case of douche vibes
-
That was fucked. I wish they would do a full length.

Can someone explain what the fuck happened in that jimmy clip
Looks like a back lip, but how the fuck did he pop/roll out of it???
the more i think about it the less it makes sense
what the fuck?

definitely a back lip pop out. it's hard to tell from the angle but the table may be just a tad over the edge of the transition so when he pops back in he doesn't hang up, but I know it's been done with extended obstacles that are pretty flush. either way it's fucked.
-
Patrick is so smooth and Tanner is fuckedddd! Real killed it hard with tthis one
-
incredible skating. really like Patrick's style. we love a front shuv king
A nollie heel king too
-
Trevor Colden on Real...I enjoy this. Patrick is f...good.
Is Real the biggest team in skateboard?
-
Patrick had some naughty manuals but overall I enjoyed this.
-
patrick has some of the best looking nollie tricks out there, guy should be pro in no time
-
Oooooweeeee Patrick!!!
-
That was fucking sick. I want to go skate now. I'm not the biggest Gage fan but his part was gnarly. Tanner is one of the most creative guys out and is a pleasure to watch. Hurry up and put Pat's name on a board so I can buy it. Dude has been a favorite of mine for a couple years. Nollie Heel noseslide Stanford hubba was beautiful.
-
No music in the team montages threw me off a bit. Felt like it was going from an edit, to b-sides edit. Definitely felt like it killed the momentum of the edited parts before.
TVV is unreal, some of the things he does should not be possible, Patricks part was too smooth 8)
Also got very heavy Emerica vibes from the green footage - triple kink smith grind by Gage!
-
patrick has some of the best looking nollie tricks out there, guy should be pro in no time
Gotta be one of the best nollie skaters out! Ready for the Patrick pro board, but I do respect brands like deluxe and craig for keeping am skating alive. Shit just happens way too fast these days with a lot of other brands.

Listen to the Jimmy Wilkins episode of the Hawk and Ellis podcast, he breaks down how he does them for a couple minutes

Gage Boyle abides what seems to be a property owners requests after he’s skate’s rail on said property, plays connect four, and jokes about losing his “gucci rings” but dudes giving you douche vibes? Haha ok. Thought his skating was pretty good, but feel like he’s on the Jack Olson path.
Patrick Praman skates fast dude. Really enjoyed his part.
Tanner definitely had a lot of good stuff and definitely deserved last part. Noticing the he was wearing what seemed to be Kwalks strap model (which got axed it seems)most of the par. I wonder if this was mostly old footage and he’s got more saved for the rest of 2023
-
That was some incredible skating. Real needs to turn Patrick pro.
-
Bro what the fuck that first kid is psycho
-
praman fucks. that flat ground nollie back heel after the table nose blunt >
this. also shoutout Thee Sacred Souls ~ really hyped they were used, one of my favorite current bands

Patrick praman is awesome. Some of the best nollie heel back nose sides in recent memory

Off topic but I just got back from Europe and did all the touristy things and holy Shit I saw both of the k walks EVERYWHERE. That dude must be rolling in it.
You’re right tho that shoe has been discontinued for like a year now so he’s either stacking, is on that miles Silvas tip with saving em all cause he loves , or injured.
He does some zany shit though so maybe this is just what worked and he still has a list he’s working on?

wow. great vid
it is so so sick that wilkins is on Real. he just fits

I really think he just likes the shoe and stacked up a bunch in his boxes because he's been wearing them forever. It was kinda only him and Kyle that were skating them so I could see Vans being stoked someone else on the team likes them.
He makes them look good so I kinda hate seeing him skate them because it makes we wonder if I should get a pair haha. Vans should give him a pro model so he can make a better looking version.

I got a pair at an outlet and honestly they were really fucking good. My only complaint is that they looked great in some pants but like shit with others (in my case)
-
Blunt slide skateboards
-
wow that was really good. they all rip hard. praman has such a good style. gage and tanner killed it to
but how good sounded that popped grate over the rail when the wheels were hitting it? supergood haha
-
Wonder if Tanner owns a single garment that didnt come out of a box from his sponsors. Sick skating tho
-
Sick skating
If your name is Tanner, go by a nickname
-
They all killed it, Gage with the daring, Praman with the style and the front shuv facility and Tanner with finding stuff that I haven't seen too much, if ever, before. Congrats on figuring out that tricks that turn in the fs half cab direction (especially slides and grinds) have been the most underdeveloped in the history of skateboarding, it was about time someone started doing them.
-
Bunch of dudes I didn't know, rock solid, no bullshit. Sick video. What a huge, sick team.
-
Dan Mancina ladies and gentlemen.
-
Saw Praman first in "Analogue" years ago and it's just amazing to see him soar. Def should be Pro very soon. A nollie god?
-
Wow, kids these days, that was nuts.
-
Watched it two times but kinda forgot about everything gage did. Sorry, he's a great skater.
Pat made me go outside and pop my fattest nollie heel ever. (It wasn't very fat)
I had high expectations for a new tanner part and he delivered. Love that guys skating.
-
do we think Vans has a side strategy to scoop up all skaters with "Van" in their name?
Tanner Van Vark
Anthony Van Engelen
Van Wastell
Jeremiah Vance
Daan Van Der Linden is the one that got away
-
^ and Jessie Van Roechoudt, and Van-ik Hacobian
-
(And Van-essa Torres)
-
And Weiger Van…
-
Patrick Praman the most exciting thing on Real right now
-
No joke, my dog's name is Tanner. From here on out, I will call him, "Tanner Van Dog."
Edit: I just realized that Tanner van Bark is a WAY better name.
-
anyone got an ID on the black pants Patrick's always wearing?
-
That Beach House track went so well with Tanner VV’s skating. Most refreshing 2 minutes I’ve seen in awhile.
-
Real is like the blue collar version of Primitive (super team). Really enjoyed this. Everyone killed it, and +100 on all the Praman/TVV talk.
-
they really paired the music to the guys' skate style?. Wonder if any of them picked the songs
Gage has this crazy quick precise pop, he really snaps into tricks. Patrick riding the Tommy G board was tight
Real has a good thing going right now - all of dlx really - i guess thats nothing new
TVs style is something else, but that was a very exciting part from him. he's kinda like t funk in that his ability opens up ways to skate spots no one sees, similar pant taste too.
-
And Weiger Van…
Also chip van ham
This was a good vid. Praman part was sick and I thought the song that was used definitely added to the experience.
-
Considering this offering and the recent Anti-Hero video, DLX camp has killed it this year and it isn't even February.
TVV has the most fucked up trick selection and I mean that in a good way.
Excellent stuff. Everyone crushed it.

What a battle. That trick must be so scary to do on a round rail. Loved the whole video, but Patrick's ender stood out to me.
-
Real is like the blue collar version of Primitive (super team).
Idk if I would call it blue collar, but it's kinda tough to pin down the Real team. I hesitate to say that they're a bit generic... I suppose a better way to put it is that they're just straight-forward. A lot of the riders seem like regular nice kids from the suburbs who just skate and don't worry about much else.
Anyways, the future is looking bright at Real!
-
Patrick's nollie bs overcrook was fucking crazy.
-
TvV can just will any insane trick into existence. I don't think I've ever seen anyone else who can skate the way he skates.
-
I don't know why so many people on this boards hate on Real, it's definitely one of the best and also one of the most classic skateboard brands.

After watching the recent supreme/supreme adjacent videos, it’s pretty refreshing to watch some gimmick free skating.
-
Front shuv 5050 is probably the coolest trick to go down on the rail in years. The attempts look absolutely horrifying lol
-
wow, Pat looks so good on a board. really makes me want to skate. i was getting some Emerica/Herman vibes from his part. nollie inward heel across that gap, the huge hardflip, switch front heel. also he has nollie heel noseslide/crooks just like Twuan.
that black rail on the hubba for his second to last trick, is that the same one Reynolds skates in Stay Gold?
-

Absolutely agree. I thought his last part was bonkers too, it didn't get nearly the love it deserved on Slap I felt.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oxZrqXIsJc
-
TVV could film a part that would fit in Fully Flared, another one that would fit in a Fancy Lad video, and another one that would fit in a Foundation video, he has so much variety and he’s top level with it all. The half cab at the Jake Johnson wallride spot stood out.

i think just making the same logo boards for like 15 years straight has something to do with it
it's getting better in the last few years but for a while real had the best wood with the most generic, unpurchaseable art in the industry
they had everything nailed (history, people involved, team) until the moment you actually walked into the shop and looked at their boards

Name one Baker graphic besides the block letters that they keep on doing? Girl does the bathroom logo. Anti hero with the Eagle. FA with the classroom photos.
-
and im over here struggling just to do a flat ground kickflip
-
I don't recall seeing or reading anyone who hates Real Skateboards, I just think most people are sort of indifferent to the decks themselves due to the pretty bland graphics. Seems like a fair enough criticism to me; if you buy decks because you like the graphics and Real is still trying to get you to buy their oval they designed in 1992, that might be a turn-off.
And I don't think I've ever encountered a single person with a bad thing to say about their team.
-
I thought these looked pretty cool in their latest drop. I know it's a little to fin art looking but the artist did a good job.

Patrick Praman gave us the part we all wanted from Lem Villemin. This video was gnar gnar.
-
There's nothing bad about Real's team but they don't really have a team identity these days other than "we are all good". All these dudes in this video are insane, but it feels like they're slowly transitioning to a less corny Primitive super team type setup.
-
Patrick Praman gave us the part we all wanted from Lem Villemin. This video was gnar gnar.
Lem Villemin's Diagonal part was so good but he never had the career I thought he was going to have.
-
That was a treat all around. Didn’t want it to end.
Gage does the „basics“ with style and power and I love skaters who do that. Also he is a regular and fakie guy and those are always the best.
Praman looks so good on and off the board. Stylish dude all around.
Tanner is so talented god damn. Imagine having his board control. When beach house started to play I knew that I will love this part.
On a side note. Comparing one skater to another just because they have a similar ethnical background is the lamest shit on slap
Nowadays I purely skate real boards because of the wood and shape but you are right the graphics always bother me a little bit. But in the end it’s usability over design for me when it comes to boards

Lem never had the motivation it needs to make a career in skateboarding - making it in the states. He was / still is super talented- but loved to chill in stuttgart with the homies/ family playing video games and poker.
Skated over period of two years 15-20 times with him the same spot / park during his peak being the new kid on chocolate.
He always was just chilling - show absolutely no motivation. But as soon he steps on the board - he make everyone around to stop and watch - without trying. On of the few guys who gave me Tom Penny vibes. Skateboarding was to easy to him to get his full attention.
-
I said that before - an can’t stop - I am a real fan since day one. Yes they had some boring board designs over the last decades- but they improve little the last years -and if you see the whole output - they had some real classics.
Team is packed with greatness - Busenitz and Ishod is always a pleasure. And Tanner - I am again a Fan since he is a kid - and this part was so incredible- but I coud imagine he is not reaching everyone with his style / trick selection.
But we can’t praise enough Praman. Just shocked. watched the part 10 times, may you call me to early, but I think we see a new future SOTY raising.
He got everything - the look, smile style, trick selection, speed, hucking, rails and he make everything look exciting. Don’t want to compare - but we coud compare with the Great skate gods - and he woud not fail.
-
I agree w above. Kid will

I rocked Campus Vulc Mids for like 2 or 3 years after that part came out. Lem’s Diagonal part had a HUGE influence on 16 year old me lol, wouldn’t be surprised if Pat Praman took influence from him as well.
Skateboarding was to easy to him to get his full attention.
lovin the Lem appreciation

His away days part is great as well. Backside flip down the triple set looked so good. He was one my favorite styles. Cool to other people are still hyped on him.
