Title: Montreal
Post by: pedro_mayn on February 21, 2023, 02:34:41 AM
Going on the 6th May until the 14th for a short stay, like.

Anyone want to link up at all? Just me and one other mucka going to be skating and (hopefully) get some footy. PM me on here or Insta (@pedromayn)

Can anyone share some co0l vegan spots and bars, too? Also care to share any dope ledge spots etc? I know of the Peace Park and Victoria Square, as they're only a few mins from my friends place where we'll be staying.

Cheers.

Heading up in July when my wife has a work trip in VT. What shops and parks are worth checking? Also best poutine spot?

The Mile-End Park is the most fun.
Rosemont is fun-ish, but a few of the locals are kooks and ruin the entire park (think of the standard "cool guy" with a beer that sort of knows how to ride a skateboard that makes everyone else feel uncomfortable).
Hochelaga park isn't worth visiting.
Verdun is pretty fun, but everything is pretty small.
The suburban Southshore parks are pretty good.

Safe, nice one for the suggestions!

Getting my flight over tomorrow (as long as these coronation celebrating mutha uckas don't block my way to my flight).

Hopefully weather treats us well.

Prefontaine Station is a really cool bank spot, pretty famous
Parc Lefontaine is pretty cool too, some bomb benches and a crazy gap to grind (pretty gnarly)

the DIY at the back of Le Taz is really dope. dont remember what its called

just be careful , dont fly solo at night etc. I got my VX2100 stolen there being an idiot at 2am drinking / smoking with sketchy locals

Went there recently after not being there for around 7 years and felt like there was some new spots here and there.

Wish I knew about this insta before I went. We did go by what seemed to be a out-of-date spot map on Google and didn't come up to much. Still, we got a lot of footy at cutty spots and stuff mainly to go with the aesthetic of my mate's part, which is more in and around the streets than strictly plazas etc.

Hope to come back out again at some point!
