you did this for me in the past when i ordered an AH deck from you.

get 2 or 3 medium flat rate boxes, the rectangle shaped ones, and fasten em together.

OR cut em and mold em so they fit nice around the deck. they're free!

make sure to tape really really well

USPS will do it. They'll basically ship anything with a scannable label and paid postage as long as it doesn't violate any federal guidelines. FedEx and UPS will probably make you use their packaging.

For quick and dirty shipping the traditional way just find any big cardboard box (hit up some nearby dumpsters if necessary) and flatten it out. Sandwich the deck in between, then fold and cut to fit the shape and tape up the seams. It's actually sometimes cheaper to do it this way too as it cuts down on the packaging dimensions so I've even done it with purpose made deck boxes if I'm sending a single board.

Assuming you live near a skate shop, you could just go ask them if you could have a box when they get a shipment in. They probably have some laying around.

Don't do this with flat rate boxes! If you have to make a frankenbox, used discarded cardboard. The Priority flat rate boxes are specifically sized so if you alter them for a different purpose they will make you repackage it anyway (or if you prepaid and drop off, they will send it back to you and make the whole process so much longer and frustrating).

Side note: It is technically a federal crime to use free USPS Priority materials for anything other than Priority Mail. I ship for a living, but I've never heard of someone going to jail for this; the worst that'll happen is you get a scary letter or fine or something  :D

I have used cardboard just folded around the board and quadruple taped. The more form fitting the cardboard is can help with shipping too. shipping rates off da chain.
I'd use the box if it was some old rare board but yeah

I've done this many times. Throw the board in a hefty garbage bag and just package tape the hell out of it. Graphic doesnt get damaged and its a deck so you dont have to worry about it getting tossed around.

I keep boxes from when I order decks in case I ever need to ship one.  I’ve also used one when flying with decks internationally and asked the airline to put it in a bin because they are precious
