I don't think anything in this video was meant to be mindblowing. I feel like there's probably something bigger in the works from Limosine and that they're putting out these videos to help advertise their drops.
Also I don't really think Alex Olson has been a heavy hitter in any way since like 2014.
I thought the video was very entertaining and I like that Limosine has formed their own aesthetic in their videos that feels removed from 917. Music isn't going to be for everyone, but at least Logan is doing something different. It's also really nice to watch a team interact as a big crew of friends on video. I don't really think theres that many companies that have that going for them.

I don’t agree. What’s their aesthetic? I don’t think they have it. Literally the video before this one was made by Benny and it was basically a Hockey video. I also don’t agree with Logan doing something different with the music, he just put shitty trap songs or troll songs idk also cuz a lot of homie vids are like this it’s literally nothing new. That was an ok video but nothing that exciting.

They're still in the initial stages of the process™, they got a legit #1 option in Cyrus with Max as a strong secondary scorer, lots of young talent looking for minutes.
I think they'll tank this year and hope to get a high lottery pick, fire the coach and then come out looking for blood the next season, maybe pick up a locker-room vet with a midlevel exception

Karim's gap manny was already crazy. I lost my shit when Cyrus nose mannied that right after in traffic. The fact that they were down here for a week and got all that footage is insane. I saw the ig stories the week they were here and it rained at least 3 of the days too so this was more like 4 days of footage. Might be mid to people who don't live here but if you know you know.

Yeah. "Chubby Rain" gave me a good chuckle for sure. I love Steve Martin when he's on. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) is another gem. And while this isn't a comedy, my favorite movie of his is Pennies From Heaven (1982), which is really overlooked. I'm a sucker for Depression-Era settings though... and Bernadette Peters... and Jessica Harper.

I fully agree about the music. It's mostly terrible. I just kind of block it out. Where Ben Chadourne when you need him?
Love the team/skating, the vibe, and the graphics/aesthetics are hit and miss, but mostly fine. Better music supervision would improve the videos drastically. Not sure what happened with Logan Lara's music taste, but it's dropped off heavily since the 917 videos.
As far as minimizing California clips, I think Limo does pretty much the same thing; it's usually these trip videos and/or a decent balance of So Cal and NYC footage. I think Hugo living out here makes it seem more California-heavy.

as someone said earlier in this thread, that gap to manny into the bank on s lamar by shake shack is no fucking joke. i implore you to go and check out some of these crusty ass spots down here, then you might appreciate just how hard they went a lil more.
This ^^^ a lot of stuff in that video is pretty mind blowing considering how quickly they got it and shitty some of those spots they skated, anything at Austin high gets a pass for me, that spot is so much harder to skate than people realize, or how the footage makes it look

I don’t even care if I “like” the music in a vid, but it should tie the thing together and set a mood, and this did neither. And the music sucked on top of being bad at its job.
