I know, more crap from sundaybottle:
A varial heel looks sicker than a varial kickflip; but a kickflip looks better than a heelflip.
True or false?

i dunno i think it could go either way for the kickflip over heelflip, sometimes heelflips just look sick

one of the few exceptions for varial flips. de gros has a sick one as well.
the general consensus should be varial heel over varial kickflip, kickflip/ heelflip is completely different to each skater

just depends on the skater really.. i think heelflips are just a tad bit more difficult than kickflips but i have both down just as good as the other.. used to warm up on 5 or 6 stairs with a heelflip first or second try. i know it's cliche but i think robertson has the best looking heelflips in the biz. as for kickflips? way more people do better looking kickflips than heelflips.

Heelflips can be sick though. Jeremy Wrays heelflip in Second hand smoke on flat over a small wall. Fuck, I'd rather watch that than most kickflips out there.

Agreed. Some peoples Varial Kickflips look good but others, not so much.
I also find that fisheyes make some tricks look worse. I know for me, I hate seeing frontside flips shot with a fisheye, I think they look better longlens.

Ok so the reason kickflips look better than heelflips and variels look like shit is because the way they move under your feet (frontside) o and all my friends love hardflips and hate, hate, hate variels.

Depends on whose doing the switchflip! I'd choose a Janoski switchflip over a Grant Patterson weird switch heel any day. But then Mike Barker always had rad switch heels in my book.

variel heels are just done so much these days that it's pretty rare to see a good variel flip. in my opinion kickflips look better than heelflips, but a really good variel flip looks better than a really good variel heel. variel flips are pretty much one of the hardest basic tricks in skating along with fakie bigspins.

Heelflips are ugly unless its a variation of some sort. Anybody can make any trick look good, from pressure flips to bennihannas, so I know exceptions exist but the generic heelflip is just plain gross usually.
the only people who hate on varial flips juust learned 360 flips. I can 360 flip big sets of stairs, but couldn't varial flip a 4 to save my life. Different tricks really.
