I say make it a non-partisian forum by not putting ANY ads up. It's the slap pals making this board popular and I can see taking advantage and capitalizing is tempting. But to throw ads in the faces of the users is tacky. And to put ads up for Nike and mailorder/online order companies is the tackiest. Those are two things hurting skateboarding right now, and the freedom to continue express that can be intimidating. We've already seen a company call the shots and have you delete threads. Don't let them have anything over your heads or SLAP will be like all the rest, under control of advertisers.
The contrast is stark and hard on the eyes. The pages are not loading any faster for me, maybe it will be different when I can finally log on, animated ads are probably the reason and they are giving me a migraine. They are obnoxious, please put all ads on the mag pages, and leave the forum neutral.

I don't mind ads, but jeez, they take up 1/3 of the screen, it's pretty ridiculous.
