Upon initial listen, it sounds like Portishead 10 years later. The beats are not as cohesive as years past but I think it's a good thing. Won't really be able to give a proper review until I listen to it in my car.

They don't appear to have missed a step at all. I can almost listen all the way through without skipping anything but I've already redeveloped a crush on her voice so I have to hear a select few out of impatience.
EDIT: personally feeling tracks one and six at this moment. Practically hypnotic,q.

After listening to it all day at work and while driving to and from work, it's a masterpiece. I feel guilty for illegally downloading it so, I'll probably have to go find the vinyl when it's released.

On my 3rd listen now and each time through I find myself focusing on new things that I like. Really interesting disc for me so far, looking forward to wearing this one out.

I haven't listened to anything else since I got it. Disc in the car, media player at work and if I wasn't so lazy I'd dig up my mp3player and put it on there too.

N.B has anyone heard "glory times"? If nt, I can send a few songs - it's good for the hardcore Portishead fans; it's tracks from Dummy done in collaboration wth other bands (still with Beth singing) - so you have tracks like Dummy set to things like grunge / hip-hop etc; really works well
