Some friends and I have been trying to make a bank spot. We already put down the concrete and it's looking pretty good, but its looking really "flaky" like if we skated it, especially grinding the top, it would fall apart pretty fast. We were thinking there might be some type of a think paint or something that would hold it together a bit better and make the lip of it grind. If we end up having to redo it or add more concrete is there anything we should do differently or a specific type of concrete we should use? Anybody have any tips?

Does anyone know if bondo ends up being firm. I know if it strong, smooth and would hold it together. But does it grind?

does it grind?
i would say no, not really.

you should go to home depot and ask, im sure there is a type of glaze or something to put over it, though i dont know how skateable it is

what did you use, quickrete? this little qp is made with all quickcrete and its solid as shit.. i'm not sure why yours would be flakey? maybe you need to smooth it out more.

Flaky means the concrete mix was too dry. Next time just add a bit more water.
For this time though, I think you *may be screwed.

That is not it. We made like 5 different mixes, all of which were different. It is just shit cement.
