A question for any New Yorkers.... Is the flushing fountain (i think this is what it is called?? the spot with the big globe) full of water at this time of the year? Or at any time for that matter?
Myself and a friend are heading to NYC in about a week from Melbourne, Australia. We're keen to hit up all the "famous" spots but are on a limited timeframe - so hope to minimize any bust or useless spot missions.
Any suggestions or local knowledge advice would also be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, sk

the ledges do look high and i'm not expecting my old man legs to get me up there for anything of note ;)
the flat/grate gaps look fun to skate though.
