i see it the other way around a lot
like 129's on 8s
but yeah that doesn't sound too fun with what you got,
be positive, think Gonz?

the only thing nastier then how that type of set up looks, is how it rides, i had this displeasure of riding some ace 33s on a 7.75 for one night, i had to go buy some proper indys the next day

I ride 149s on a 8.25. When I look down I see no overhang. It appears flush even though the trucks are a quarter inch wide than the board.

I find it OK for me as long as the wheels don't stick out the sides. If the axles are sticking out a tiny bit, that's cool.

my first setup was like that, still sucked at pushing at that point and would always hit a wheel with my foot and bail. it's not a good look.

its gotta be a weird feeling to have anything other than matching boards and trucks...but i know so many people riding boards between 7.75-8 and never switching their trucks. maybe im just too picky.

I rode 8 inch trucks on a 7.6 something board. Worked great. Skate what you have.

My M&M cruiser is 8" at the front so my 33 ACE work well, but it tapers down to 7.5 at the back (it is called a banana board for good reason) and my wheels stick out, but it doesn't effect the way it skates or bother me that much, plus I am not buying two sets of trucks for a cruiser.

Pabst - Gonz has always taken the "rules" of skateboarding and turned them upside down, that dude could skate a board set up side down and do shit that most of us would never even think of.
