This dude's so ballsy.  With no legs, you can't bail or run out, It's full force slams all the time.  Even hitting a pebble is like serious damage for this guy.

nah ive never met him  :( i love reading his interviews and seeing his footy and photos though...its beyond inspiring i just hope he knows how much positivity he throws back into skating and into other people

i got so pumped however long ago it was when i got the newest thrasher at that time and it had an oggy interview in it

hating on how inspirational oggy is? my god...no one is pumped on him out of pity that he skates with his hands, people are pumped because he is a fucking great skater regardless and is positive as hell despite having to life everyday without something you take for granted...and youre damn right he didnt choose that lifestyle some crazy shit happened to him that will never happen to you and you should be damn thankful of that

to address the second quote, if oggy did it because it is the cool thing to film yeah it would be gay, but we dont have to worry about that cause oggy is the real deal

Is there a reason why he can't get one of those robotic prosthetic legs that alot of people have? Super expensive? Not available in Brazil? Different area in the legs?

What I meant to say with that was that being a security guard and having to tell him to leave a spot has to be really hard, wouldn't you feel bad having to tell someone with no legs to leave an area?

I might have said it wrong....I meant to say one of those mechanical robot legs that allow you to live everyday life as if you still had legs, not those wooden pegs or whatever.

when i lived out in western ma in 03 i met this dude who skated but had never really seen videos or mags, and i gave him a copy of SLAP from that year that had an OG interview. He was totally stoked on the guy.

I ran into him not long ago, after like 5-6 years, the guy started a sick zine, opened a music spot/club, traveled the country, and just did a bunch of cool shit, he got out of his shitty mountain town- What was funny that when we were talking he said "Steve bro, i don't know if you remember the OG DeSouza interview you gave me, but that has been my total inspiration to do everything i've done since that point in time."

I thought that was pretty fuckin rad
