why do they even bother importing this? i thought the whole point of importing something from another country is because it's good. this beer tastes like carpet cleaner mixed with ass sweat. and to add insult to injury it's 8.99 a six pack. for some unknown reason i recently forgot how much i despise this beer and bought some since it was on sale. now i'm faced with the decision of: what is worse, no beer or shit beer? (obviously shit beer is better than no beer, so i have to force this stuff down my throat and i'm not happy about it).. i don't like putting myself in that position

i've gotten to a point where i never want to eat at a Chinese food restaurant again because i know the only beer they're going to have is fucking Tsing Tao. i know it's trendy to drink at certain Chinese-themed bars, and lots of people seem to like it but to me it literally has no taste, and doesn't seem like it has much alcohol. i'm not racist or anything but i just don't trust the Chinese. so fuck this beer.

i don't think a product's name has ever been more ironic. people could probably argue that there are worse beers in the US, but not very convincingly. just the fact that this beer actually has the word "best" in it automatically qualifies it in my opinion

i've drank an outstanding variety of cheap, shitty beers but still the beer i like least is heineken. i find anything that comes in a green bottle to be generally nasty. schlitz is pretty bad too.

elephant carlsberg is a damn good beer, higher alchohol content than carlsberg and thus a stronger bite. worst beers would be josef haufbauer and charles riebenbach.

Pilsner is actually not that bad, when I was in the Czech Republic, there wasn't that many other beer besided pilsner and it tasted pretty good

Cara Pils for sure! We made a scheme for how Cara Pils works. It starts out as Cara Pils then it turns into Para Pils and finally it is Cara Kills.
Cara Pils is also the kind of beer which makes you hung over after a few beers.

original coors "the banquet beer" is by far the worst beer ever. the local liquor stores sells six packs of sixteen ounce cans for four bucks cause no one buys it, but the worst part is that at a lot of place it's priced like bud or tecate. why anyone would buy coors even at a steep discount is beyond me.

yea, they are fucking disgusting, but I recently found out that they are $1.25 per at every bodega. I have been wasting so much money buying tall cans of less worse beer like Bud and Modelo. Coors Original gets you drunk cheap, but man, it's awful.

I can drink pretty much any beer because I know it will take me to a state of inebriation. The only beer that I can think of that truly tastes disgusting is Coors. It was the first beer I ever tried to get drunk off when I was like 13 or 14, maybe younger, and I puked it off of my friend Frankie's balcony. I'd still drink it if it was free though.

me and 4 or 5 of my buddies killed 3 24 packs of tecate in one night, all got black-out drunk, and then woke up the next day absolutely fine, it was the best drinking experience of my life. I'm sort of scared to drink tecate again in fear that it might ruin my fondness of it.
but to stay on topic, I have friends who swear anything harder or more falvorful than some domestic piss water is "bad". I want to say I believe the opposite, but I think to accuse any beer of being the worst is an oxymoron since all beer is inherently awesome. Though I really don't like heinekin. I'll drink it, but to me it tastes like someone's dirty livingroom that smells like unfinished beers and stale weed.

You're insane. Pilsner Urquell is a close second to Czechvar as far as true tasting pilsners you can buy in the US.
The only beer I truly think is disgusting are the sweet fruity types like raspberry ales and shit. That garbage tastes like vomit.

i had some milwaukee best at the last stop of my trip yesterday at that chaz ortiz lipslide 270 shove spot (its called parc lafontaine) and we smoked a doobie, i was goign to grind the ledge as we left after chugging back 3/4 of a can, and then i puked up brown shit, grimiest 5 days of my life. that shit was not meant to be chugged.

when i was a novice beer drinker i didn't like all sorts of beer, and that's all i can think about more thank half of the posts in this thread.
I'm not saying Budlight is a good beer, or that Coors is a good beer, but by no means are they close to the worst beers. They're easy to drink and inexpensive. Myself, on a regular drinking day/all night affiar, i prefer good old Budweiser.
I will, however drink just about any beers, but there are beers (not malt liquor) that aren't so hot and lead to headaches, these are:
milwaukees best
red dog
that chinese shit someone posted on the first page
busch light
Miller light
bud ice
yeung ling (of all sorts)

it's not so much that this beer tastes like a shittier version of tecate, as it is that it only has 3.2% alcohol content. primo is the same way, i think they are both classified as light island lagers or something. anyway, it's just too much liquid to have to put in your body to get drunk.

I don't like cream stouts, I tried Sam Adams' version of it and was so bummed because I spent the last of my money on it. Because of that I've rarely ventured into any beer with a hint of dairy in it, like coffee porters, which I really want to try. I'm entirely with HATE! on the no clear or green bottles aside from New Castle. & Michelob Ultra. I have never tasted it, because I know better. The cheapest shit I'll drink is OE High Gravity, only because it's a guaranteed plaster-maker.

First off, Zurg is dead on about Laker, worst beer I’ve ever had, probably named that because it tastes like murky lake water.
But also, there’s a hip local brewery super close to my house, which I desperately want to like because there’s no others around. On paper their brews sound delicious, but every single one, whether on tap or in a can, has this absolutely brutal metallic aftertaste. You get a faint hint of the intended flavour up front, which is then immediately followed by the taste of a stale beer that’s been sitting in a can too long on a hot day. I dunno if it’s the city water they use, their equipment, or what.. but it’s gross and a bummer I can’t bring myself to enjoy/support them.
The actual worst beer is probably Maximum Ice or whatever those heinous 10% beers Alex Moul drinks in the Tales From Warner Ave clips. I genuinely feel sad for anyone who subjects themselves to that stuff in order to escape reality.

When I turned 21 every weekend I would buy a different shitty cheap beer as kind of a novelty. No Coors or Miller Lite. The more obscure the better. Also, malt liquor is different so saying Old English is disgusting is pretty obvious.

I bought a flat of 15 for $10.99. You know the beer sucks when it is sold in flat in the moder era. I bought this beer because it was ‘fire brewed’. This beer cold tasted like Miller High Life warm.
The other beer that sucked really bad was Lowenbrau.

Haha I ran both for years when I lived in Toronto. Laker/Lakeport Honey was the move, as well as the strong beers when I was in my early 20's. My gut bacteria is probably fucked.
Worst beer now that I hopped off the wagon, well...Budweiser really does have a lot of chemicals in it, that's why I don't mess with it. Even less so with any flavoured beers, never been a fan, but no judgment.
What else...Rolling Rock is disgusting to me. Anything "ice" is gross.

Yeah, I agree with you on Heineken Uncle Flea. It's barely drinkable, if even that.
I honestly wasn't too fond of it until I had a chance to try it in the Netherlands. It was much better there. Still not what I would choose if/when in Europe, but definitely better than a lot of the other beers mentioned in this thread. They had it on tap at the hostel I crashed at back in the day.
I think what someone else mentioned about green glass bottles not keeping beer very well has credence to it.

Not sure if it's been mentioned or not but I'd like to put a vote in for South Korean beer in general. I can't remember specific brands but they all seemed to be very fizzy with little taste. The taste that was there was bad. I hate soju as well. I had many terrible hangovers in Korea.

One time my friend and I went to World Market around Christmas, we were on one and picked up this big Christmas themed case of beer. I think it was like a 12 pack of all different beers. We then proceeded to try every single one of them in one night and they were all shit. Granted that was before I got a taste for craft beers, but they all fucking tasted like shitty bread or soy sauce or something. I don't think either of us even finished a whole bottle between the two of us.

Went back through the 5 pages...some obvious and multiple listed ones (Lakeport Honey Brown an honorable local mention) but as a Canuck I'll go off the board and throw Estrella Damm out there. It was on sale so we bought it for pre game drinking on the way to a TFC game...and it was a chore to drink on a glorious summer day. Just rank. Sweaty Barca session in a can.

Definitely didn't live up to the years of hype I'd heard leading up to trying it a while back (I don't drink now). I suppose it's possible that the product has been somehow compromised by the Coors partnership. I never liked "ambers" in general, so maybe it boils down to that.

it's kind of like the german version of lean. we don't have those codeine syrups(illegal), but i think you can get promethazine and dexy, but hard to beat a jaeger trip.
most of my jaeger memories include blood, broken glass and days of regret.

The "history" that was passed among bartenders was that it was created by hunters in Germany to sooth upset stomachs after eating deer meat that was very game-y. I still enjoy drinking it, no Red Bull which will definitely keep me up till 6am.

I know its probably sacrilegious to say this since its sorta been the unofficial beer of skateboarding for years, but I still think PBR is objectively bad beer. Unless you are only trying to get fucking hammered on the cheap, I never understood the appeal. For a few more bucks, you can get some decent craft lagers or pilsners (in case you don't have the palette for other varieties).

They went out of business but someone recently bought the namesake and started brewing again. A couple years ago my brother bought a case and we all toasted to Opa and took a swig. NOLA and it's outlying areas do house some very well regarded breweries. I've never had anything from this particular brewery, but I'd certainly give them a go:

I just read Jeppson’s Malort Wiki page and I have to say I am pretty excited to try it next time I am in Chicago.
How about Jagermeister? How does it compare to that? I have actually never tried Jagermeister or other sweet shots like fireball because I was just always used to drinking hard alcohol straight. Except gin. Puking off screwdrivers at 16 has ruined me for gin for life.
jaeger makes you trip out, i'm not even kidding. the og herb mix for it was said to contain hallucinogens.
it basically tastes like licorice with herbs. really a love it or hate it thing. some people do jaeger shots all night, some can't even down one.
In Las Vegas and I ordered some Jaeger for the culture. It tastes pretty good and mostly like black licorice. I don’t pick up any cough syrup. Either way, not bad but I’ll never drink it again.

Where my malt liquor boys at? Steel Reserve, Natty Daddy and Earthquake are my top 3 cans of rusty sewage seltzer to get fucked up on when you’re reduced to pocket change. Pour em into a glass and chug em down if you wanna get drunk in 5 minutes, make sure to eat some taco bell too if you want the full bubble gut experience in the morning.
Not gonna lie, a cold-ass Mickey's is pretty damn nice from time to time. Haven't had one since like '13 though, apparently they come in plastic 40's now.

i meant not that it tastes like cough syrup, but we use it like that(or use a cold as an excuse to drink jaeger shots). also i think the german version of nyquil(vick's is spelled wick's here and the product is called medinait)is different to nyquil, it's like a herbal(mostly eukalyptus/camphor/mint) cough syrup and actually has some jaeger qualities to it. i guess because jaeger has so many intense herbs, people just thought it must be good, cause herbs=healthy.
but yeah, way to go, hope you could stomach that stuff. if i have it it has to be straight out the freezer.

I had it with some Coca cola, and then some Bundaberg Ginger Beer.
Red Bull is disgusting by itself, fuck mixing it with Jaeger. Though I'm sure mixing it with cola is probably sacrilege also.
I like it just on ice though.

It has been the time to sample everyone's Oktoberfest offerings and this one was absolutely vile.
I have no idea how they settled on this flavor profile. I could barely get two sips down before I cursed this shit forever.
I passed it to my wasted friend and somehow he perked up with enjoyment. He said it tasted like Tilapia... He was wasted but wtf.
I grabbed three of those from trader joe's and three of this year's Alesmith which rescued the night.
