Post by: warhead on August 11, 2006, 12:22:55 PM
Anyone skated a Zoo York deck and feels like sharing some info about how it skates? Good, average, shit?

i hate zoo york so bad, it hurts me that i buy a board every 2 weeks, they are hands down the best wood. ive skated everything and nothing is as crisp and solid as a zoo board, fuck them though, steal one

I used to love skating Zoo boards.....so crisp and snappy.....I remember when they were first coming out the wood was really weak.....I had about 6 Jefferson Pang boards that broke super quick....couldn't not buy them though....the shape was hella sick for the time.(1994)

Had like 4 Jefferson Pangs back in 1996?  The black and white city photo ones whichever came out right before the Tiger Balm board (which I didn't like as much).  I lost interest as soon as they started kicking off all the guys who pretty much built the brand in the 90's.

Blueprint/Cliche is the same woodshop?  Guess that's who I'll support instead.  Besides nothing but positive experiences with Cliche product so far.

chapman makes the following:

zoo
official
cliche
blueprint
heroin

definitely checkout the official boards.  they got good shapes, good cave, and for those who care, good graphics...
