i'm having an art show in oakland this friday.

i'm from new york and my mother still lives there so i visit whenever i can
but i've been living in sf for about 3 years now. thanks for the support.

Holy shit, that first picture of the people there, the dude in the green shirt. Do you know him? I think I live in the same building as him.

But I love your stuff man, I personally wouldn't be able to get the meaning behind any of them without some help, but the one with the sand is fucking sweet.

yeah thats henry. he goes to the same school as me.

as far as the meaning goes...

in short, they are about the subjective nature of reality. all of the titles are actual places, for example, the house with the white fence
is titled: 'grandma's house (west haven, ct) or the open road is titled (interstate-5 somewhere between sf and l.a.) lastly the sand on the beach is simply
'montara beach (montara, ca).

the title of the show is 'point of view' or it could have been called 'my point of view' because thats pretty much what i'm saying.
the pieces are my take of these places i've been.

Super sorry I didn't make it out to the opening, I'll try and go by while it's up.
I stopped by the DLXSF shop and saw the flier there Matt D. told me who you were and now I feel like a real jerk.
The stuff looks great man, stoked to see so many SF folks made it over there.
Henry Gunderson(sp?) makes some cool ass shit.
