He's the Malto-esque character that's more enjoyable to watch.

Bledsoe is boring, and Malto is even worse.

SLAP scared me when people were talking about Malto deserving SOTY.
It really hurt my feelings.

That issue looks like a good read, according to headlines. I'm 99% sure that "don't mess with rodrigo tx" has been used before.

Rodrigo TX is a beast.  Bledsoe is just a little guy but he's got fancy moves. He's come a long way from the old Element featherlight/mini ripper division days, but he still needs a few years to develop a bit of a more manly man steeze. And what about that Cory Kennedy character.

I don't think Jake Johnson had enough footage to be in the running.

My thoughts exactly. I liked Jake's stuff best, but Tyler is undeniably talented.

What's up with Japan? Is it the land of amazing flatbars or something? I always see footage of people skating these crazy and perfect bar setups there, is shit like that just around, or are they just searching really really hard?

Asia in general just has an immense amount of untouched obstacles. I was in Taiwan recently and there were hundreds of round fatbars lining the city blocks as well as marble ledges galore. Only problem is how crowded most parts of the cities are.

Down with Bledsoe getting this, the kid is sick and consistently puts out really good footage- the AM situation over at AWS is pretty close, who goes pro first? Regardless of who you like better, you'd have to think Bledsoe would first since he's been getting so much coverage since Mind Field...

Grant Taylor, Jake Johnson, Nestor Judkins, and Pat Burke all come to mind immediately. I can understand why they picked Tyler though; his Mind Field part was pretty boring to me, but everything else he's put out this year was good.

David Torgerson killed it, too.
