St. Edward's University maybe. It's private, though, so it's more expensive. Texas State is pretty easy to get into, but it's not in Ausin. Still relatively close, though. Of course, there's always ACC.

I've had friends that went to ACC and transferred to UT, Acc's art program is actually really good though.
supposedly St. Edwards is tight.

moving to San Marcus in august...enlighten me on...anything?
-
San Marcos is nice, chill town, amazing skate park (think they just finished a big bowl there), some good spots.
Here is a view of the park: http://www.concretedisciples.com/skateparksdb/skateparks_display.php?id=2261 (http://www.concretedisciples.com/skateparksdb/skateparks_display.php?id=2261)
But it's August... It'll feel like a nuclear holocaust... So you might hate it.
Also Austin is getting another park which should be done in a couple weeks.

The new House park:

It's sick, I love South Texas.

The river there is spring fed and the water is in the mid-60's year round. The skatepark is not far from the river. You can go to Sewell park to watch all of the college girls (but not booze) or go to City park and booze it up at the water. It comes in handy with the 100 degree heat that we are already experiencing. The new bowls at that park should be open soon if they are not already.
If Alvin Orde's (sp?) sandwich shop is still around, I used to love that place. There are an obnoxious amount of good looking women at Southwest Texas State. Once upon a time, the ratio was 2:1 women to men. I do not hang out much in San Marcos these days (except to skate/ swim on weekends), but I put in time down there in my 20's.

To all: I suggest to go by No Comply skate shop and pick up the new shop video if you're in the area. It's so good

burning one and bombing west ave onto 12th to house park is the best.
cedar park is fun as fuck but house has that downtown vibe. smells like piss & shit. full of trash & acc girls. random lurkers. ideal environment.

Hell yeah, man. Get some heated sessions going, or just try to chill in the heat. It gets kind of hectic sometimes because of all the stupid fucking children and hovering parents, but besides that, it is usually a good time.

Is the spring pool the one from 'the tree of life'? That's somewhere in texas right?
-
Headed to Austin monday for a real estate convention, does house park have lights?
-
yes and so does cedar park
