It was a different gap, but I think I know the one you're talking about. I think it was in a VM, maybe 411 but not sure.

I still have this magazine. First Thrasher I ever bought. Reynolds has been the best since I started skating and he is still on top. INSANE!!

its from an old ON video, the video starts off with a Baker/Bootleg section, reynolds tricks in that are so sick, he has always been and will always be my favorite skater, just a really sincere cool dude, who looks out for his team. cant do no wrong.

Yep...1998. I was 12 years old. Pretty much memorized this mag cover to cover.
Funny story about this magazine too. This is back when Thrasher used to have Top 5 for SOTY. That year it was Jamie Thomas, Chad Muska, Peter Smolik and Gonz as the runners up. I remember being 12 and knowing who all those guys were expect for Gonz. There was a photo of him skating a pool with a huge one kick board. I remember thinking "Who is this guy?? He looks like he sucks." Man was I a stupid kid.
Anyway...I'm gonna be honest...never used a scanner. I'm not gonna go get one. Don't get your hopes up.

The End DVD doesn't use the DJ Shadow song!!!!!!! They didnt use the beastie boys song in santos's part as well as not using the bowie/queen song for heath/jeremy's part too.... whack!

Not usually into the gap centered type skaters, but Reynolds is a different story. He does everything so proper, and makes it all look so easy.
I've seen him in person a few times, and the show he put on was amazing. Once was a demo that he was killing, the other 2 times were at bust or bail and the first Wallenberg contest. At both of those, he was the only dude who didn't look like he was chucking himself down the stairs. He went at it with the same ease and composure most people have on a 3 stair, but the spots were a 16 stair and Wallenberg. He's so calculated and controlled. Its pretty unbelievable. Wallenberg, getting the frontside flip in 3 tries without ever really putting himself at risk, was amazing. Cole did the b/s 360 in two tries at the next one, but he took a slam to the head in the process, and looked fueled by adrenaline, and while mazing in its own rite, didn't impress me the way Reynolds did with his chill approach and one extra try.

Reynolds' line in baker has a deathwish with the bs flip up the stairs fakie 3 flip and then the switch back heel down the stairset koston switch front 360 is probably one of my favorite lines of all time and it was just throwaway footy

THE BOSS. reynolds is un-touchable in everyway.

In my opnion he is within the top 3 best skaters of all time, and has hands down the best kickflip in skateboarding. He has consistently put out full parts that out do their last. I think he is the only pro from his era that has continue to out do himself over the years. Even now in his 30s he has no signs of slowing down, and I can't fucking wait for his deathwish part.

That sounds right, I think that he talked about it in his Epicly Later'd that came out last year. That's how he got the cameo in Cop and 1/2 (the clip at the beginning of his Baker 3 part)

I've been a Boss fan for as long as i can remember...but i'll never forget when i played him in skate as a grom at this contest called Jamcouver, i knew he was gunna kick my ass i just wanted to be able to say that i played the boss in skate haha, i set a dorky pressure flip and didnt even get a letter on him with that (of course not, he grew up skating in the time when people were doin those) so that was pretty epic, but after the contest i ran into him again and he gave me a brand new spitfire swirl t shirt which made that experience even more epic! But as far as style goes frontside flips and braves hats are the shit
