After what Jamie went through with SLAP, I dunno if he'd do a collabo with his Forte, haha. But I would throw my vote on that shoe, too, it would be sick as hell.

fuck i had the chance to buy the adidas shoe in Montreal at ?Underworld skateshop i was going to come back the next day and buy that and the Kalis Mind Field Deck and then i got robbed so i had no money to buy the gear. so pissed.
if you guys do another one please do it with vans or adidas again i couldnt really see it working out with any other company.

we did one with nike for our 15th anniversary, several years before the adidas one, doubt another is in the cards. vans was sort of on the table but the person there who was all about it isn't there any more. could bring it up again, but kinda unlikely. we'll see what comes of this thread...

Disagreed x 100. Nikes aren't really popular around here, and I've never seen a pair of Poppalardo's in person. Eras, authentics, and half cabs are still more popular than any of those.

Half-Cab or Old Skool with the 'angel' logo small and tasteful would be ideal, in my opinion.
Adidas had the better two of the shoes; wish they would have put it in ads.

i think the reason i thought that the janoskis were slept on is because the closest place to get nike SBs is an hour drive away (toronto has a few skate shops that have them but our local shop doesnt carry them)

I've never skated the Janoski's but I like the way they look and everyone raves about them. I'd like to see a SLAP colorway of it....maybe in a mid because I am a firm believer in the magic of half-cabs

Vans or lakai. I think someone said that there is a Manchester coming out with the XLT sole, that might be a good one. If not those then maybe also Fallen or Emerica, I'd think they'd be most down with this kind of collabos.
With the SLAP Adidas, whenever I saw someone wearing them, 90% of the time you could see right away that they have no idea what SLAP is. Vans might pose the same problem, but I don't see people buying many Manchesters for chilling.

I would pick a team model like a bruin, blazer, etc.. Can't be a pro model since it's their shoe. Vans would be sick, but I could see other companies in this like DVS maybe even DC. Who knows when will the next shoe company will collaborate with SLAP. Only time will tell. Sky's not the limit.

My vote is on the Manchester with a cupsole. That shoe is great. I haven't skated the old school but I skated the "sk8 mid" and liked that. I think there should be a SLAP shoe for Lakai, Nike SB, Adidas, ...etc. One for all the dope ones.

whatever you do, please do not incorporate corduroy into the design. the only reason i picked up the adidas was because i randomly saw them on sale for a ridiculous price and the cords almost made me not buy them.
no leopard print or anything stupid like that either.
edit: the adidas in-sole graphic is all types of awesome though. maybe the next shoe's graphics should have cotg, md, and inbred jed quotes on them

as for another SLAP shoe, it doesn't seem likely right now. companies just aren't really doing fringe product stuff as much these days, and with the time it takes to develop and produce a shoe, especially the way adidas did it through feedback on the site, you probably wouldn't see it for almost a year or more anyhow. keep posting ideas if you'd like, all the shoe company people likely know about the thread already and they will contact me if they are interested in doing something. i can also go to them if there is some kind of consensus on what shoe/model is most desired, but really i wouldn't hold my breath on anything right now.

They do run a little small though, I usually wear a M but I had to get an L in that shirt. I think Mark told me it was an American Apparel blank. I don't like those blanks. AAA is the way to go. :)

My vote is on the Manchester with a cupsole. That shoe is great. I haven't skated the old school but I skated the "sk8 mid" and liked that. I think there should be a SLAP shoe for Lakai, Nike SB, Adidas, ...etc. One for all the dope ones.

No, you are wrong. Nubuck is a type of leather.

Sometimes shoes are made with "synthetic nubuck" which is what you described, and it is often incorrectly called just nubuck in brochures. It can be hard to tell which one is used without proper labelling and seeing the shoes in person.
Oh, and the Adi Ease with the old Slap Campus vulc colorway would already be a shoe worth making.

That shoe actually came out about a year ago. Grimcity, HATE!, myself, and few other PALS on here actually got a pair. It was super dope. I dont know if they ever fully released them or not.
