Im pretty sure after his new part in Stay Gold, kids will recognize a true skate and start appreciating him more and emerica will consider him getting a shoe. If not, then skateboarding is going down the wrong road.

age has nothing to do with it, plus how long he has been in the game is something that should be honored not looked down on, he has survived in a industries that is very up and down, the dude is timeless, he has build a solid career and his parts are getting better, im pretty sure he skates cuz he loves it, but im sure he would love a pro shoe and the checks that would help with his mortgage and raising his daughter

He has no gimmick, that can be sick on some soul skating carving the streets shit, but it wont get the kids to love you. To me, he sorta has that ed selego factor. Really fucking good, just eh.

Sometimes it comes down to how hard the dude jockys for a shoe or a board. Like if they say they want a shoe or they're bouncing for a different company. I don't really picture Suski as that dude. His shoe will appeal to "old dudes" like me, 26-30 somthings. They dont buy as many sheos at 13-25 year olds, and therefore it won't work.

i have mad respect for suski, but i would first ask how many decks is he selling? are people who appreciate his skating (and actually skate) buying his decks? the shoe game is run by image. this in turn provides the brand to sell to people outside of skating. i have to assume suski would have received a vox pro model by now. emerica had spanky, herman, leo and braydon. then westgate and now figgy. its almost as if he missed the window before the youth came in and as we all sadly know, skating has become about the latest and greatest.

Darkwingduck, there will probably never be a Suski shoe. Like everyone else said he isn't marketable. I don't see a shoe company give a pro shoe to someone that won't bring in the cash. Ok, I think everyone gets it. Just because we say Suski won't get a shoe doesn't mean he hate him or don't want him to get a pro shoe. his part was sick in stay gold but I dont think he gets enough coverage. I cant think of any ads or interviews he has had in awhile. All I can think of is the zoo york part which had some ok stuff, but also had some horrible stuff in there too.
