fuck...ing...awesome.

Its fun looking threw all the spots if you have some spare time. Really good.
I really want to go to Berlin. All the spots in Turkey look really good aswell which was a surprise.
-
no Budapest:(
-
reminds me of why I need to go back to europe. spent two months in barca last year and felt kind of stupid after the fact for not venturing outside of the city.
-

even that is too much sometimes.
-
What a total load of nonsense. Where's London? All these cities are so explorable too, nowhere near the size of cities in the US - you can just cruise round and find stuff.

Ha! Btw, is Titus Tours still around?
-
I guess so. the one and only time I was in barcelona these guys came along, it must have been 2004 or something, on top of the macba craze. anyway, I felt ashamed to tell the locals that I'm german because I saw these persons around. how can you carry on a bus load of young skaters to a skatespot and let them do whatever they want? that's totally not cool for the spot or the locals ... anyway, 95% of the things that titus does suck badly, but I heard good things about his son who apparently is more a skater then a business guy and handles things better for the community.

He does skate well but it is hard to get a way from your dad's influence,...

Sure you can but this stuff is still excellent. Especially if you're on limited time. I agree that this is almost too easy, you can just get a map and ask locals but having been to Barcelona with a map with full of spots upon arrival, I can't complain.
The only bad thing is that because of these spotmaps there are more people treating cities like skateparks, using no discretion at all with when skating certain spots and being disrespectful.

I don't think you're wrong, I'm just less skeptical when it comes to the dittmann junior. I heard some funny stuff about that happened when a.s.a.p. transformed into 24/7 distribution and that made him look more legit then his dad. his dad was the worst thing that could have happened to german skateboarding, though. you can't do more wrong then he did.
-
yeah matze the funny thing is tht Titus actually sparked a couple of cool things but then blew it with his massive fucking ego!

He doesnt give exact directions(on the barcelona one at least), some are still pretty tricky to find.
Stefan, the dude who makes it, is one of the best people i've ever met through skating. The man loves to skate as much as possible and that map is a reflection of it. I'd bet that he's actually done a trick at 75% of those spots.

Now that you said Stefan, I checked the pictures and I remembered that I met that guy. He's super rad dude, skates really well. He just showed in my town out of blue in the middle of summer, he just bumped into me by chance, we skated together for couple of days. I showed him around. We even had pretty funny accident with local cop. I was at the this spot with Stefan and one other italian guy, I don't remember his name. Cop thought that we were just some kids and we are all thirty somethings. Italian guy didn't have any ID and cop was getting pissed, lucky Stefan understands italian, so he translated to me in english and I translated to cop in croatian. It was actually pretty funny. Cop was so confused that he didn't know what to do, so he just kicked us from that spot.

this is genius

From what I saw in the Vienna section, Zurg is right, you'd still have to search and ask the locals. But generally it's cool to get an overview over what places you can go to, if you don't find anything rolling around.
A few spots in Vienna are sadly already history by the way.

The reason there is no London is that the site is made by one guy on his own and he just cant go everywhere. I am sure once he travells to London to skate, he will put something up. But thats also the reason why every Spot on the maps is really skateable and there are no shitty skateparks or whatever on it like on a lot of these community sites. You might find a lot of spots by cruising round the cities in Europe, but you will never be able to find that much if you dont have a lot of time on your hands.
Stefan told me he skated each of the spots except for some big rails. Here is a part of him, where you can see a lot of the cities from the map:

Berghain is a nightmare, they do not let any groups of boys that look like tourists in at all, i had to go alone with my girlfriend the 2nd time. The new home of techno in berlin though!

Does anyone know the address for this spot? Going to berlin in May

^ yeah, that thing is on the outside of skatehalle berlin (google it). It's near the warschauerstrasse train station. Easy to find. Berlin's got plenty of good street spots as well. Have fun!
-
This is awesome! I'll definitely use it when I'm in Denmark this coming fall.
-
Wow, really wish I knew about this when I was in Barcelona!! Definitely using it for when I go back though.
-
I met Andy Macdonald at Copenhagen Skatepark this week. It was unexpected.

I was in the neighbourhood this morning and went to have a look. A local fella outside the Skatehalle told me the little outdoor park was private and he didn't have a key. Ballache was slightly diminished by his saying it was hard to skate and there's another DIY park in Treptower Park which is nicer. I couldn't find it, so possibly the joke's on me, but a Berliner on this might be able to confirm or deny this.

Betonhausen at Skatehalle is in deed private. And it's hard to skate but fun as hell.
Treptower park I've never heard of... go to Mellow Park and be amazed. That's a good DIY park right there. Might be the same thing as Treptower, maybe.

i can totally co-sign this. i met him in berlin this summer and had the pleasure of skating with him and his crew for a few days. nothing but good times and memories.

Is there anything I should skate in Rome before I leave? I just landed here yesterday.

Find here what you want to skate! I can't say anything more because I never skated in Rome, what i can say is expect rough ground but loads of fun. Enjoy

Ha yeah the cobble stones here are no joke. So far I haven't seen a single skateboarder or waxed ledge. But I found a bank near the place I'm staying, so that's something.
I'm going to give that spot site a good read through to see what I can get to by foot. Thanks!

I saw many spots but did not take pictures of all of them. These however look perfect. This plaza is called NDK this area with the ledges stairs, and propped up tile are basically a skate park.

Stephane has to come to your city to skate it first. And then he will add it to the spot book has a validation.

I totally miss barca, i went there back in 2004-2005ish era, i skated sants, and ive skated parts of macba and some other cool ramps/banks you see there in their very interesting architecture, I had some great pics of barca, if i still had them i would post, but had some really oldskool times there, especially the Moroccans salesmen selling the odd bit of hash :)
