I just remember first seeing this video and thinking how hilariously gnarly it is. And now it seems like most of them are killin it today: Shuriken Shannon, Sammy Baca, Lizard King, Slash, and Adrian Mallory. Basically everyone except of course Ragdoll who disappeared. But anyways, this video is fucking gnarly.

this video was what caused me to think fuck everything being/looking perfect. Tricks that are just straight gnarly are the best. "Eat shit or die" basically sums up this attitude

Good soundtrack too - Girlschool, Viktor Vaughn, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Minor Threat, Iggy & the Stooges (albeit an already-used song). Brings back fond memories. I always hated that Charlie Custalazzo or whatever with his shitty wingspan style. I'm glad he disappeared. But the rest of the parts were great.

I would be so hyped is Ragdoll was coming back. It was sick when he got on birdhouse after pig wood ended, but then he moved to crimson I think, and then I haven't heard anything in a few years. COME BACK PLEASE!

The opening to Slash's part (half cab flip, layback powerslide) remains one of the sickest things I've ever seen in a skate video. Baca destroyed as well.

it went from being the gnarliest and inadvertently funny video at release to being weirdly respectable now

slash's part was always so sick though. he was like 17 with a full beard that had gray hairs in it, and skated like his beard would if it could skate

Yay on the video, nay on the wood. I think it was from Tum Yeto and their boards were always too short for my liking, probably on par with Dwindle without the stiffness.
