Something around accels thickness, I dont understand the vulccraze. Not my cup of tea. How do people skate in Erasīs? No support what so ever, tear apart in a second and the boardfeel is almost to much. No, I got K1 lakai remake just before january and they still are alright, (three sessions a week on average), what a wonderful shoe!

HUGE difference in "good" skate shoes that skate well and perform good versus shoes that "last" and are durable. with that being said, the slash's are good shoes that skate well, just might not last. lakai manchesters are in the same boat as well as SO many other shoes.

Well, I love the Troopers, I hope they are still gonna make them, I currently have two pairs at home, and hope to buy some more. Also, Rivals are great, and that Billy Marks latest shoe I think, Pawn, I havent skated them, just tried them in skateshop, and they feel great... Havent tried other ones yet.

OG DC Lynx's and Sal 23's! but seriously, since those don't exist the best stuff I've skated recently were SB Dunk mids and Carroll Selects. I need mid's due to my shoddy ankles. I would go back to low tops if they re-re-released the Lynx's and 23's. No experience on these shoes and haven't rocked low tops in forever, but I've heard great things about the Busenitz, Manchesters, and Janowski's. I am willing to risk my shoddy ankles to try those jawns, and the Nike FP's look good and curious on the new Kostons too.

These are all shoes that are amazing but unfortunately don't last too long...

Reynolds 3, the bottom rubs down quick and the vulc falls off in the back sometimes

Globe Magnum, no idea why I bought these because I dont exactly like to support Globe lest it have Appleyards name on it but these shoes were amazing! They have that fake vulc thats not too rubbery and still padded... just amazing.

Any of Reynolds' shoes, they just need a longer lasting sole.

Emerica AR Slim, ie reynolds 2's with the phylon midsole had a really great/durable cupsole. they were awesome, in my top 5 shoes all-time.

this has gotta be my favorite ever though:

eS arto pro model, anyone else had these? came out just before/after his epic Sorry part if i remember correctly.

I had the arto's in that colorway. they were so amazing. other shoes i had and liked a lot were:

the first mark appleyard shoe.

these babies
(http://images.sneakernews.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/nike_sb_blazer_cs_black_21.jpg)

so durable and good boardfeel. skated 2 boards to chipped razor tailed garbage and still no sign of wearing down. even didn't have to use shoe goo. sole still has his profile. damn, so bad they stop making them.

Those Appleyard Circas were sick, like 507s or some shit.

I always wanted those Es Artos and even his shoe on Etnies. Never found a pair in my size, though.

I think some people just hate on supra because of the same reasons as DC, its technically a skate brand but you still see alot of jocks and hypebeasts wearing them which puts off the "core group"

the worst, ripped in like 3 kickflips and thinner than rice.  (http://www.metalshop.cz/images/boty_circa_al50_black_white_red_bwr_p.JPG)

some of the best ive had
(http://www.zappos.com/images/714/7142409/3034-224265-t.jpg) nasty to look at and come to think of it grip was terrible, but i had really good hardflips and tres.

(http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t256/HIMHER123/trooper-purple.jpg) awesome durability and great flick.

(http://www.stantonschools.com/classroomprojects/computerapplications/0708period1/ashleykier/pod0271_lakai_mariano_shoes_black_street_pirate.jpg) seriously did soo much damage in these bad boys. great sole and the wierdest toe at first, but then they flick awesome.

(http://www.eukicks.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/n201302_gywh.jpg) lasted me a long time.

could also add to the list g codes although im not done with mine yet.

It is always funny to me that the same people who will hate for that reason still wear and support vans, nike, cons, adidas all the time when really jocks and hypebeast people probably make up a huge portion of all their business. I don't hate on these brands either, they make good product, but its just a observation.

Supra is owned by some dude named Angel and 2 other guys. He used to own TSA.

I could go on forever about my favorite shoes from the past but my pick currently would have to be these.

I fucking love the G-Codes. Great fit, great flick, very comfortable, great insole, protects your feet pretty well, damn good durability...the only thing you have to watch out for is the fact that the grip wears flat relatively fast. Mine are flat from shimmying my foot too much, but they still grip fine. Plus, the laces are so high up you really don't have to worry about blowing through laces. Big fan.

the first time i ever wore g-codes i broke my ankle, not at-all blaming it on the shoe but because of that i cant wear them anymore - like a mental block

damn dude, that sucks! yeah I meant more like protects the bottoms of your feet, my feet aren't super sore after a long session in these. the ankle support is pretty much nonexistent. totally understandable mental block though haha.

there is no other answer.  this is all i've skated since 2007 and i won't be changing that anytime soon.  got almost 4 months out of my last ones, and they were good to the last day.

I love this shoe aswell, only thing is that the sole gets a bit thin and floppy before the toe blows out. by long not as fast as other vulcanized shoes but i switched to blazer mids with the cupsole. perfect.

[...] but i switched to blazer mids with the cupsole. perfect.

I'm interested in knowing more about those:
- How is the ankle supporting?
- Are they easy to break in?
- Would I be able to remove the swooshes efficiently?

Ankle support is good. My ankles arent something to be proud about, but they hold up.

breaking in is easy for a cupsole shoe

dunno about the last one

amazing!
