HEY so I am currently in Paris and haven't done much research on good spots/parks, could anyone help me out? I'm basically in the touristy part of the city (louvre, eiffel tower, that kind of shit), so any info of spots around here would be helpful

Paris is sick! Enjoy it.
You gotta go to:
Le Dome Aka. Palais De Tokyo - you know the spot from a lot of videos. One of the most well known spots of Paris. Its located at: 13 Avenue du Pr?sident Wilson. Right next to Avenue de New York. Easy to spot once you are close.

The Wave - one of the more 'fun' spots in Paris. Some says it has been demolished, but I was there in february, and it was fully skateable back then- Its located right next to Les Halles

Bercy - Can't go to paris without visiting Bercy. The big sportsarena at the Seine. Curbs and huge stairs. Seen in so many videoes.

Besides that, a visit to the Botanical Garden is definitly worth it. It's also a small MiniZoo, with a great history. The cages are small and you can tell its from the beginning of the 19th century. During the war, due to starvation, the Parisians ate the animals in the park to survive. If you are up for some American Breakfeast in Paris, this is the place to go. Good service and cheap food! It's good for those down days when you don't feel like spending a fortune.

Nozbone Skateshop is said to be the best skateshop in Paris for the time being. Streetmachine recently closed.

Bump, any other suggestions for spots in Paris?
Do the cops hassle you there? This may be a stupid question, but if you get a ticket there is it like getting a ticket in another state where you have to return for court?

Cop might kick you out but you won't get a ticket unless you are skating let's say a roof behind a fence behind caution tape.
Some of my favorite spots are:
Place d'Italie. There is a giant carrefour store with a little stair plaza with stuff usualy brought their to skate and this awesome bank

Place de la Bastille
Alot of people meet up at this large stairs manual pad area on the place but if you go up boulevard beaumarchais to the north for 2 minutes there are some great low/medium granite ledges.

go to gmap skatepark in the evening (lots of ripping going on) or vega skateshop which is really near(google it), those guys 'll help you out for sure! showed us around and even let us stay at their places

Go to the stop Marie d'Ivry (southeast Paris) on the Pink line. Go a half block north out of the station and then about four blocks east on Av. Georges Gosnat. You can see it on google maps.

Couldn't find anything about the wave being gone. Are you sure about that? Seems strange because it's still a big tourist attraction and still serves the same purpose.

No, I wasn't sure at all. Its an old topic though, and I went again after I posted that and it was still there - but they are remodeling the park around it. As i said, it was just something someone said (on the page where I found the photo). But luckily it wasn't true!
