I wonder if it will become commonplace to do this in the states. I heard that McDonald's already does it in Germany.

I remember seeing a fat man getting drunk by himself in a McDonald's in Greece. It was mad beautiful, yo.

They had beer in Mc Donalds in Barcelona when I was there.
If they tried selling it here in the UK things would go horribly wrong.

Coffee shops/Chinese restaurants in particular around here tend to do it pretty frequently, especially with local brews.

I like the idea, but the only time I ever get fast food nowadays, I'm drunk already. But I'm being selfish, there's millions of parents out there who just want a cold one while their kids are screaming and fighting over who gets the purple Transformer toy.

Can't see this happening in Canada. A beer at the bar usually costs as much as a combo itself.

yeah mcdonalds in germany do sell alcohol
but not a large range
also kebab fast food places over there also sold it

chipotle does. every once in awhile me and friends just bring a case to fast food joints. no one seems to mind

i have seen fast food who served beer but none from america

I guess they are banking on the recession and assume that many more people will be homeless and looking for a place to hang out.

there are three or four fast food mexican places around here which sell alcohol. but thats it. strange.....

I'm down. Chipotle to the rescue. Also there was this Mexican food place that would give you margaritas to go in Styrofoam cups. I forget what it was called.

Nah not in the UK, we're too close to Ireland, things could get messy. I was in Greece last week and it was pretty common to get a few beers in with your chicken and chips haha

I cant believe they dont sell beer in mcdonalds in the states. I mean, Mcdonalds is your thing right? Why in spain they have always sold beer? I remember going to mcdonalds with my parents, I had a happy meal and they had beer after beer. It doesnt seem that much of a big deal to me.

most kebab-shops, delis and "restaurants" sell alcohol, but not all mcdonalds and BKs. for instance I tried getting a beer at the Berlin hauptbahnhof. i didnt get one.
