i am moving to melbourne in 2 weeks, what spots should we be on the lookout for.
and also what is a part of town to get a cheap apartment?

 You do not want to live in Frankston, Frech Stewart. It's pretty much the worst place in all of Melbourne, that's why it's so cheap. And it's about an hour out of the city. Although the new skatepark there is amazing, biggest park in Australia and it has everything.

yeah the Frankston park is sick. But if you want good spots go to the docklands, its like 10 mins from the city. Its a new area with uncaped ledges, ramps, rails and these empty warehouses where skaters have built heaps of shit, manny pads, ramp, wallrides. Amazing place.

thanks for the advice. what part of town is good then if frankston sucks. also whats a shop downtown we can checkout to get headed in the right direction. thanks again

 A shop you can go to in the city if you need directions to skatespots or anything is PSC skateshop on Swanston Street. THere are a heap of spots in Melbourne to skate that are easy to get to, you can just skate between most spots or catch trams.

brunswick, brunswick east and west, carlton north, collingwood, fitzroy.
why would you ever live in frankston? that is not part of melbourne.
hemley skateshop.
and docklands isn't 10 minutes from the city it is part of the city

yeah, i meant from Flinders Street

and Fitzroy bowls are so much fun. But my fave spot in Melbs is probably Flemington Drains, its so much fun.
