I'm sure not everyone writes on their grip but when you do, what do you guys use to draw on your griptape? And what do you guys write/draw on it?

I just use Sharpie Paint Pens that I usually pick up on sale for 2/$5 at Michael's. I usually just write some lyrics I'm stoked on on the toe-side of board. Current set up just has "Shine on you crazy diamond."

also ive always loved griptape with graphics when skating tranny.

Back in the day, people used paint pens. I don't know if that's a brand name or a type, but if you Google it you'll figure it out.

I usually write "kill yo self", "get buck", "luh dat shit" or some other shake junt quote on it.

I can't stand anything but straight black grip tape. It even pisses me off if it gets ripped on the edges or gets too dirty. It's this stupid problem that's all in my mind that only skating can bring out. Like having to ollie before a crack to get on a ledge.

Yeah, I just use sharpie paint pens. My last board had "swag" and my current has "Thank you based god" because both times I was listening to a shitload of lil B. I like writing on my grip, but only on the heel side, towards the tail, going up the side of the board.

I have been writing something on my grip with a metallic gel pen since about 2004.
I just put the initials of something I'm stoked on between the front bolts.

I don't write/draw on my grip anymore, always go straight black, but when I did in the past I used a White Out brush. It takes longer but you get can get good detail.
