Title: Transylvania, Budapest and Istanbul.
Post by: Smurph on March 31, 2012, 07:46:22 AM
I'm going to be taking a train journey this summer from somewhere in Europe (perhaps France or Holland) all the way down to Istanbul and perhaps further on...

Anyway, the three main places I intend on visiting and stopping off at on the course of my excursion are the Transylvanian area of Romania, Budapest in Hungary and Istanbul.

Can anybody offer any form of advice for these places? (the usual - accommodation, food, travel, places (not) to go, spots, people, bars, random shit...

Thanks.

Hardflip at 0:48 is in Budapest:

Benjamin Berger - IC 60799 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pr20ILLOcro#)

It?s some small Banks/Kickers near the main train station. I remember this place "Szimpla" Bar was pretty nice in Budapest.

I have never been to Transylvania, but Romania in general does not really look good to skate from what I have seen.

For Istanbul Spots, just check skhateyou: http://www.skhateyou.com/spots/istanbul/istanbul.html (http://www.skhateyou.com/spots/istanbul/istanbul.html)

Your plan sounds like a lot of fun!
