yeah, pretty weird . . . a hard copy was definitely supposed to be included with issues of Transworld.
Another interesting thing to note is that most of the tricks used in the trailer was stuff he had photos of in his Transworld interview
Having it premiere on the Thrasher site definitely puts him in contention for the SOTY title though. Had it been released in conjunction with Transworld, he wouldn't have had a chance (as Jake only awards the title to those who represent "the mag")

Just as I called it when Josiah Gatlyn wondered about the future of online parts - the only way to make it memorable is to title them. Think of them as if single parts are musical singles and full-lenghts are studio albums.
That said, "Unlimited" is a horrible title (it would fit someone like Chaz).

I am way more hyped on this part than david and figgys part. Dont get me wrong those parts were gnarly, but Austyn is skating some new stuff people havent really done before. And Ill be honest, figgys party is a lil overated if you ask me.

It's like each part Thrahser puts out is the best part of the year when it comes out, they're (and the skaters) killing it! So many tricks stood out after first watch: the back 3, half cab crook line, back 180 switch 360 flip line, nollie 180 50 switch back 180 out, ender hill bomb line, and then all the tricks after that.

Though I feel conflicted about awards given to professionals in creative fields, all this SOTY chat has me wondering if there's a "Video Part of the Year" in the Transworld awards. Isn't that what it really comes down to anyhow? For instance someone like Pedro Barros had a pretty great year of skateboarding but wouldn't get a mention for Skateboarder of the Year. Yeah anyway just thinking out loud or whatever. Good video part Austyn Gillette. I need to watch it a second time but I liked that fakie ollie near the beginning. More than anything it made me miss summer.

Some really rad skating in there. Had to watch that front nose pretzel out a few times. The first song was incredibly bad... the part was still good, but something happens when you match up rad skating with a really rad song that just didn't happen here.

I concur. Also, I am personally sick of posters saying "Quatersnacks remix please". They haven't done anything remotely amusing since they put Dylan's Mindfield part to "Dude looks like a lady"...and omitting Berra's part all together.
As far as stand-outs in the part...I still can't believe that 360 flip over the pole in the beginning. That and the switch bs flip in the line because it wasn't 2.5 ft high like we are accustomed to seeing from him. I always wanna see more of the weird 180 5050 tricks...and I was thinking there would be a switch back noseblunt down something...'cause that one he did in copehagen looked easy as shit for him.

I concur. Also, I am personally sick of posters saying "Quatersnacks remix please". They haven't done anything remotely amusing since they put Dylan's Mindfield part to "Dude looks like a lady"...and omitting Berra's part all together.
As far as stand-outs in the part...I still can't believe that 360 flip over the pole in the beginning. That and the switch bs flip in the line because it wasn't 2.5 ft high like we are accustomed to seeing from him. I always wanna see more of the weird 180 5050 tricks...and I was thinking there would be a switch back noseblunt down something...'cause that one he did in copehagen looked easy as shit for him.
