whoever said berry atmosphere i can see why, the soundtrack dragged on and as much as we all like random footage at the end of a skate video this thing kept going forever.
lots of good parts in it though.

yeah the skateboarding in there was really sick. some people had dope parts but the editing, music plus the random footage made it so horrible to watch. plus some of darrells tricks were used in this is my element.

whoever said real's 'since day one' i totally get it, the music plus the editing felt like it was put together the night before a premiere.
it had some amazing parts but out of the library of skate videos i have this one gets played the least.
this thread is making me think twice about the skate videos i have.
videos should never have 'original soundtracks', element and flip have both fucked videos up because of it.
there's a reason i loved all the old flip videos besides the skateboarding.
what about single video parts? cause that nyjah's last call was fucking terrible.

opinion was the first skate video I ever bought on DVD. and i fucking loved it! Chetty Thomas' part is edited very oddly indeed, even by early 2000's video standards. Loved Jayme Fortune, G-Gonz and Ryan Kenreich parts in that vid.
And to whoever said Pretty Sweet was boring, regardless of your personal opinions on either the editing or tricks on screen, I would hardly call it boring for a skate video. My eyes were constantly on the screen for fear of missing one of the many 'jokes', funny shots or little pieces of special effects wizardry in between tricks and parts. It is anything BUT boring in my opinion.
Thank fuck someone else mentioned Tent City, I sat through it once and never again. It really wasn't worth the time at all.
And Good and Evil! What??? That video is one of the finest Toy Machine videos of all time!!

Globes Opinion made me depressed for years.
I remember I was real bummed on Chichagof when I first bought it back when I was 15. I tried hard to like it but I was pretty bored and pissed about spending my money on watching a bunch of weird music and 16mm. Funny cause it grew on me and maybe even influenced me back then cause nowadays it's the kinda shit I'm into.

I would argue Good and Evil is one of Toy's finest videos of all time not because the skating was mind blowing, but if you take that video in context it is up there. It was Toy's first video after a long period where Toy seemed to be on life support and also the only original member was Ed in Good and Evil. So it was a huge gamble of a lot of less known skaters and an aging Ed in a vid and shit Toy pulled it off.
