Im actually skating my first pair of Lunarlon Cons, I think they're awesome. Skated them about 4 times and seem to be holding up great.

I have the runnig shoes and they're very comfortable, but skating is a whole different type of impact ... although, I never tried Nike SB shoes, so maybe I could be wrong.

It seems to be good at first.... But after only a few days of skating it flats out and the shoe becomes worst than a low profile vulcanized one...

Happens to mee too. Sharp hits go through it hurt a lot. It's comfy for walking but for jumping down...forget about it.

Lunarlon's a lightweight, comfortable insole best used for vulc shoes, or as the top layer if you like to stack insoles. impact protection & long-term durability arent its strengths, but overall they're aiiiight. I think i might read somewhre that all the newer P-Rod models not only have the lunarlon insoles, but have the shit built in to the actual sole as well. correct me if im wrong tho.
Suprafoam with the orange gel are easily the best stock insoles tho, no question.

FP insoles are the shit, I got a new job with ten to twelve hour shifts and so I'm walking around quite a lot (how I now break in my shoes) and I got the gamechangers in my work shoes and in my skate shoes and they're absolutely fantastic

In an interview, Koston says that Nike improved the lunarlon for his new shoe. Maybe they'll start putting out Nikes and Cons with the new lunarlon sole.
