Met Herman at the Emerica demo last thursday and i think he is such a sick skater, and also an awesome guy. Think he deserves some appreciation!

I saw him at the Mile End, London demo yesterday. He was just cruising about when I got there, he threw a sweet hardflip of the 3foot ledge, and was trying a kickflip FS nose grind on the small bank to box, but it rained before he got it landed.

I was at the demo in Manchester and he was cruising at the start too because he had injured his foot. Then he did a kickflip down the stairs and a nice hardflip. I got a couple of pictures with him and the end of the demo he gave me and my mates some domino's pizza!

So fucking rad. Definitely one of my favorite skaters out there. Not too many people can match his trick selection and style.

met herm when i was super young at fdr, we had weed he had a blunt. never seen someone roll a blunt so fast in my life. literally sat down flipped his board, cracked it, broke it up, ect. and lit it in under a minute. him and braydon both chilled on it with me and my homies. was a good time. also he said (this is when the herman 2 just had came out), "that non slip desert grip is a lie" hahaha herms the best

The g-code has helped my skating. Props to Herman.

One of the few stair jumpers worth caring about. One of the best styles out right now IMO.
-
Fairly certain this is going to be Herman in about 30-40 years.

Anyone who doesn't think Herman is one of the greatest skaters alive is straight up regular. He may not enter contests or perform in BATB, but he can do anything that just about any skater out there is doing and do it just as good, if not better. 100% natural talent.

I hate to be a stickler, but he was actually in BATB 2 - He lost against Jimmy Cao in the first round.
To reinforce your point though, that kind of exposure (along with major contests) are of very minimal interest to him.

b herman is jeusus

I remember being so hyped on 6:20 when this came out. I went directly to my local quarter pipe after seeing this.

If you "hate to be stickler", then why do it? I know that he was in BATB 2, hence my saying he doesn't perform (I said he doesn't enter contests) in BATB because honestly he looked terrible and it seemed like he didn't want to be there.
You don't have to try and make someone else look stupid on the internet, especially if you just end up making yourself look stupid in the process.

that first kickflip he did in that game was a thing of beauty. one of the best flat ground kick flips ever. i really remember that for some reason. i still try to do them like that.

He is straight up one of the nicest people I have ever met. Gave me a beer at Wild in the Streets in tampa a few years back because he was hyped on a photo I shot of Reynolds's ollie over the bro bowl gap.

Had one of my favorite parts in Stay Gold, his picnic table lines are amazing

Rodney Mullen's favorite skater. Also one of my favorites and puts out proper shoes.
-
I thoroughly enjoy all his parts and could rewatch his Stay Gold lines more than the average skater without getting sick of it (also sidenote: I want to see more Parts edited like that picnic line one) but I always can't help but feel he hasn't put in as much effort for his parts since perhaps Baker 3. He seems to be on cruise control, imagine what he could do if he pushed himself somemore.
Anyway, I'm not complaining. Long live Herman!
