Why, hello there! My name is 808 and I have devoted my life to uniting a plethora of rolling ninjas. The purpose of our team is to abolish the hate that exists amongst those that don’t understand the trials and tribulations of our cause.
Within skateboarding, the goal is to have fun. For some it is to be a professional. I have seen a lot of people that will run little kids over, throw and break their boards, destroy the yearn to learn with hurtful comments, thinking they’re better than others, sometimes leading our communities to not want to support the activities that should be well supported.
One day, most people will understand the damage that has been done and hopefully step up and bring the up and new comers to a better tomorrow. This means not giving into childish tendencies that only feed an industry that has manipulated you to break your board if you don’t land the first trick of the day! This is very unprofessional and you will never see your dreams come true. You may be a technical monster, but no one will care, so you should just quit while your ahead. I bet Jeremy Klein had no idea the trend that he would set forever in “Rubbish Heap” when he broke his board.
This team is made up of wood pushers, rollerbladers, scooter kiddies, and anyone who is down for the cause of bringing as many people to the same conclusion. The people who look up to the ones that have made a bad name for those who roll, should be guided in another direction. If you give a bad name to what we do, we will find a way to make you quit. To all who believe in the magic that keeps a dream growing, I commend you. Basically, the kindness of the world will destroy those that have tried to destroy us. In plain English, stop hating! Teach a kid some tricks, or if you don’t skate but your down for us, realize that the youth of tomorrow rides on your support.
In retrospect, the good of our team is against the bad that is trying to delete the growth of a ninja people. Learn something from the bladers that skateboarders pushed down from their beginning. Be humble. Old schoolers, remember to coexist. Evolution is in effect. In the end, our team is pretty tight. All of our joint rolling efforts are going to result in the respect we deserve.
