My shoes always end up permanently rank if I wear them without socks. Any recs?

I've heard baking soda works too. Would much rather use baking soda than baby powder.

Why the hell would you not wear socks? I can't stand my feet in direct contact with my shoe. Anyways, Walmart has Oder-fighting insoles, those might work.

Julien doesn't weart socks so these were designed with that in mind. Get 'em if you can find them, I've been holding since last year waiting for summer to give me a reason to go sockless.

the nike project ba's have that mesh on the side of the shoe that really lets air breathe through to your foot, that with goldbond has always helped my sweaty ass feet out.
dont the reynolds and westgate shoes have some kind of mesh vents on the side of their shoes too?

Can't speak to the Westgates but even with side vents the Reynolds is a rather steamy shoe. The huge, one piece toe doesn't breathe for shit. Still a good shoe but not a cool (literally) shoe.

Baking soda, or you can also put your shoes in the freezer overnight and it will kill the odor-causing bacteria.

My shoes always end up permanently rank if I wear them without socks. Any recs?
I've skated a number of shoes sockless. The best I would recomend, in order, would be 1. vans classics, 2. janoski's (strapped) and 3. vans slips. They're all prone to stink, but the main downfall is that the insides get all moist and slippery. but for a few weeks they're fine. I like skating sockless when it's too hot.
